For 81 Jan NOA1s, most of those with NOA2s waited about 77-80 days, still waiting for NOA2s mostly 87-90 days. Another VJ member posted their NOA2 on the timeline following their Jan 8 NOA1. Now were up to 29 for January NOA1s tha post their timelines. 29/78 = 37.2% ...sigh... It appears the two week period for NOA2s resulting from NOA1s filed Jan 9 to Jan 23 are due. I did a quick timeline search, and see there are four more (total 22) approvals for January filers. Fwaguy updates his page on weekends. His work is VERY helpful but regular updates are on weekends. Also, couples need to keep their timelines updated! It's just because I'm a Jan filer, right? Have we had anymore? Fwaguy - any new data to add to the charts? I need more confidence to get through the next week and a half - what should be (and I use the term "should" loosely, I know) the week that sees last January filers see some damn action! C'mmmmmon CSC. Go! Get a move on! Someone, please, good news needed! I did a quick analysis on fwaguy's "Days in Total" column that calculates days from NOA1 until NOA2. Below is a summary table for the entries with and NOA2: Days in Total: NOA1 to NOA2 Mnth Count Mean Median Mid 2/3rds ================================== Dec 72 80.8 80.0 73-87 (72 Only NOA2 received) Jan 18 78.5 78.5 76-81 (18 Only NOA2 received) Jan 73 77.9 76.5 72-85 (73 Includes NOA2 not received) It appears NOA2s for January filers/NOA1s are being issued at the same rate as their December peers. The small difference between the months is insignificant. To estimate when you expect an NOA2 to be issued, add three months to your NOA1 date, subtract 10 days. Example: Our NOA1 is dated Jan 26, three months is April 26. Subtract 10 days gives April 16th. I'm expecting the NOA2 following my Jan 26 NOA1 early next week. Seems WAITING FOREVER, doesn't it? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January Filers	I can see a lot of January filers getting their approvals, is it time for me to panic? We haven't got any touches at all since we got theNOA1, and i was asking my paralegal about it and she told me that it will probably take another 4 months to get the approval. She's not bothered at all, and she doesn't seem to show any sympathy to what I am going through I'm somewhat of a newbie here, I'm sure my opinions will be corrected. My NOA1 was Jan 26, the only "touch" was a change of mailing address. I think this is a good sign, most RFEs that slow down the NOA2 come in the first two weeks or so after NOA1. Several members have recently posted that they received their NOA2 approval with no touches after NOA1. Once your I-129f is out of a "to-do/inbox" stack on a USCIS employee's desk, an approval/rejection decision will come quickly. If your I-129f is picked up for an approval decision the first time after NOA1, you will not have a touch since NOA1. Your paralegal may be referring to final visa approval in four months. If I read correctly, the instructions at http://www.visajourn...mp;page=k1guide titled "What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):" require only a COPY of the NOA2. This can be scanned and emailed when it arrives. Why wait to send the remainder of what the beneficiary will need? I'm sending the package next Monday. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February Filers CSC, NSC, TSC	I started my counter from the day NOA1 was issued. I'm just counting X's between NOA1 and NOA2. The timeline is very specific and asks for the date NOA1 was received, but I see many people enter the date it was issued. Not that is matters much as far as getting the NOA2. If only getting that NOA2 sooner was as simple as manipulating the dates in our timelines! I set the beginning when our NOA1 was issued, a Thursday. It was received four days earlier on Monday.
