K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	skype and video conversations	My fiance and I met via a Christian dating site and we chat everyday on facebook and talk on the phone whenever we can but we did not video chat too often because of the conflicts on our schedules. She work for a call center with an American account and works at night (which is morning in the US) and I work on 2nd shift (3pm to 11Pm). She also works on the weekends so we really don't have a lot of time to have video conversations. Are video conversations very important proof of the on going relationship? My bride told me yesterday that the earliest interview date that she will possibly get is on August 14. She said she talked to someone on a facebook group for VJ members who just set an appointment for interview. Anxious about her interview, she asked that lady if there are still a lot of slots left for July. The lady said the last for July is July 19 and the next interview date available after that is on August 14. Is that possible? We got approved on June 19 and still waiting for our case number. I was just chatting with my fiance, and he asked me to make sure if I need him to send me the original NOA1, NOA2 and NVC confirmation letters since he is a bit apprehensive about sending it fearing that they might get lost in the mail. Can anyone here please tell me what to bring? To those of you who have done this before please let me know what I need to bring to the embassy in Manila. Maybe the system is down because of the flood at Roxas Blvd. They will resume business tomorrow at 10am. You can try scheduling online or call tomorrow. My fiance meets the income requirement but we decided to add his bank statements and 401k. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-129F Denied :(	Thanks for all the replies. I will wait to get the letter, but I am pretty sure the denial is due to not enough info. So it looks like my best bet will be to refile. Now since I filed once, then do a completely new I-129F submission, there won't be any issues? It should not be too hard to get the info needed. The big hassle will be for her G-325 with signature, and passport style pics. Ask your fiancee to fill up the form and send it to you the earliest time possible. While what you have is a good guide and general overkill/ frontloading, you do not need all these things! Read the guides MJ. Be prepared to start again. Ask any questions you have here before you post anything new off. Our K-1 petition was approved before we changed our course of action so feel free to ask me any questions. Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner & Beneficiary) 8. Proof of having met in person in the past two years - Photocopy of with passport stamps - Boarding passes - Hotel and restaurant receipts - Tickets (movies, parks, etc.) - 5 pictures together, 1 picture with family 9. When my husband (then fiance) first went to the Philippines he brought all the paperwork that we needed to send for the I-129F petition. We reviewed and signed them together. Maybe you can just download the forms in your laptop and you guys can fill it out together and just print them at the business center of your hotel. You may want to bring a copy of your birth certificate and 2 previous tax forms and w2's so you don't have to worry about sending them for her interview. If you bought an engagement ring you can also bring the receipt. They didn't ask for the receipt of my engagement ring but there are some strict CO's who might ask for it. If you were previously married, bring a copy of your divorce decree. We took a lot of pictures and saved restaurant and hotel receipts. Just prepare everything on the VJ checklist. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February filers at CSC	We received our NOA-1 Feb 19th, and no news yet.... what drives me crazy is sending my Petition from the Mid West all the way to Cali and then wait, wait, wait ...while it seems all around me are dates of people receiving NOA-2's. It makes me worry that something is wrong with mine, maybe I filed it incorrectly... I don't know... it's just hard. We get excited because the dates are bouncing all around us, and of course Vermont is going like gangbusters (which doesn't seem fair, but what is in life) and here we are still waiting... it's hard to get all pumped up, then slow back down and wait... you know? Mideast, Midsouth ect... all have corporate addresses, and each location within the 6 Divisions has addresses.... I manage a location in Indiana, for the Midwest Division that is located in Chicago. But the Main Corporate Headquarters is in Birmingham. My paychecks come from Birmingham, so do I use this address? The reason I am concerned is because when I fill out the I-134 support form, the letter will more than likely come from my HR department in Chicago, with the Corporate letter head and all... but the address will be different... Is there ANYTHING that would cause my wife to be forced to return after the Visa was approved, entered the country, and we are married? Once we are married, she is here with me forever.... is this correct? I mean, outside maybe a divorce in a month :)) of course I am kidding about the divorce, but I am curious about this. With all the work, and the care I took in putting together the petition, I failed to make and "exact" copy of all I sent. I think I have it all in my head for the most part, but is it imperative that the packet I send to my finance be identical to the packet I sent to the California Center? She has done the CFO Seminar already once, but it my understanding that she has to do so again to get the sticker placed on her Visa, so she will go back again after receiving her Visa.Seems like such a waste in knowing she had to do so once when she changed her name on her passport to her married name...So now we wait for the delivery, and buying her plane ticket.
