I think the 6 weeks is an average, if you look at other people here who were in AP and are now out. It could be more, it could be less, and there isn't any way of knowing. I was 7 weeks and 2 days. The day has COME !!! We were released from AP at NVC today before noontime EST. They told me it will go out in todays DHL package to Kiev, so now the countdown is to see how many days before the Embassy gets it in the computer and we can finally make an appointment for February. I know some people said they called in 3 days and got appt, , others said 10 days. I can name 3 people who waited under a week, so lets hope for the best.... who who knows. i will call every day and use up a few pin cards, if I can be done with this process ASAP. Hopefully everyone else who went into AP with us on Dec 9th, will get released soon. Good luck and thanks for the support every day. Congratulations!!! I am happy for you. I was encouraged reading your good news so I phoned NVC hoping to hear a good news about our case, but sad to say our case has not been sent to the embassy yet, we are still stuck in AP. Sad. Another Holiday Monday, so no changes until at least Tuesday now, if you are planning to call for an update. I'm hoping Friday 23rd will be our lucky day......cheers I looked at your timelines guys and we all got our NOA 2 December 4th and they were all received at NVC December 9th. I was wondering that maybe our cases were all in the same box and were unluckily got stuck at NVC. It will be six weeks under AP tomorrow I hope they will release them before this week is over. Waiting is not a very easy thing to do and ever since we filed our K-1 petition all we do is wait for the outcome. We thought once our case reached NVC the pace would be much faster, apparently it's not like that at all. Oh well, I guess we are some of the unlucky ones to get stuck at NVC. When was it sent from NVC? You can track though DHL, but some say it's not very reliable. I will find the link... tnx...got our nvc letter last nov.26th and we called the nvc last 27th and it's under administrative review...huhu... Just phoned NVC and I've found out that our case is undergoing administrative processing that's why our case has not been sent yet to US Embassy Manila. Our case was received at NVC December 9th. I was told that there is no time frame how long will it take when a case is under administrative processing. So I guess all we can do is wait. ARGH!!!
