Philippines	Employement Contracts in PI - Please explain to an American	Hi i don't think they will sue her, Ive done this before,, but one friend advice me to send my resignation letter explaining my concerns... through their email, so I did They don't have choice than to accept it I worked in Consulting/financial Company in Makati before also... after I graduated in college and I was in contractual basis also... (even big companies here in PI uses agency now sad.. and they will decide after if they will renew ur contract... i think this is because of high unemployment rate here... so maybe their idea is okay ... next batch... But I think its ok as long as you know this and try to pay off the full balance every month. One bank that I know approves newbies is orchard bank. http://www.orchardbank.com. Their interest rate is a little high but like I said, you're a newbie. You can use it until you can establish credit. Once your credit is establish, you can close this and try for a regular visa/mastercard or better yet, American Express. Philippines	credit card	I have capital one credit card in my name.. But it is in my fiance's account. Everytime I have a purchase it will go right away to his account, and he's the one who pay for it too It does work very good for us ... They don't charge international that's why we are using it here in PI and in country that we visited and not our Debit cards coz our bank charged us service fee and international service fee. So for me, capital one is good when you are out in USA. I don't know so much about credit cards yet,, but I think the best thing how to use it, is pay the full amount you purchased on the due date.. Ex. You bought cellphone worth $400 April 30 then ex the due date is May 30 ... then pay it on May 30 but better before, like 3 days before.. . That's how we used our credit card and it works fine... no charge, no international fee.. etc.. How much u purchased, is how much u will pay... (This is my case only, i don't know others..) They are very supportive and very nice to me.. Since my fiance is only child, his parents treating me like their daughter... and I am very very happy to be part of their family... So, I want to give even small present to them as an appreciation for their kindness and support to us But I don't know what to give yet..... When Ryan's dad visit us here 1 week ago, we gave him a jeepney (toy) and a small sculp carabao... he's very happy with it.. he have collections in every country he visited Pls give me some ideas to give them... for ryan's mom... and his dad... he have already the carabao & jeepney... what else??? ................
