Philippines	Wife's family demanding money	My family dont ask anything to Ryan, but Ryan voluntarily gave my mom. As for me, giving my mom some money for her birthday or for her medicine or some personal stuff is just giving her small thing compared the care and the life that she gave to me. Ryan agrees with this, and don't care if we will support my mom. Im glad I don't have problem with him regarding for the support for my mom.. but it does not mean that we will give my mom plenty money., no ..just enough for her to buy foods that she wants. She's not fan of shopping too.. my mom is old. she's 70.. so i want to give her the best and comfortable life while she still live and praying more long years for her. As for families asking money every now and then and just used it for nonsense.. that is a different story, it should not be tolerated.. i knew our neighbor in the province before who married to an german guy, the family always asked money to their daughter..and got mad if their daughter will refused.. and they say, they are 'madamot'' and kuripot! it's a shame to our country.... Philippines	Cheapset text / call from PI to US	hi she did not enrolled in roaming service? while in Philippines? I did mine like this... I enrolled my smart sim to roaming while i am in the airport.. I keep my # until now, I still received text from my friends and family but........ i dont reply them through my Philippine #. I used chikka messenger to text them back it's free... international text.. I used this since Im still in college... when I am run out of load... just download, chikka messenger at chikka.com it's a great messenger ... u can send MMS too for free .. If she did not enroll in roaming,, she can still sign up in chikka with pc # and still can text in PI and then her friends can reply to her PC chikka # too And for her friends & family and love here in US... the phone is free when u will get cellphone plan 2 phones in total eheh.. Philippines	unable to get an SSN for K1 until EAD is approved.	I was surprised why u didnt able to get one... where state you are? coz were here in North Carolina, and they don't have any questions why i need SSN, and i received mail already from the SSA yesterday that I will receive my card within two weeks... i applied for my married name so that I will not come back when I have EAD/greencard. maybe the officer that you spoke don't really know? Try to call their office and speak to someone else,,, .. if they have the same answer.. maybe that's the policy of your state?... and u need to wait til the ead or greencard to apply for SSN.
