K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July '08 filers	SO I HAVE A QUESTION!! what order does his stuff have to be in for the interview..He had everything except the police cert medical and his NOW they say on the form for 134 form they want it noterized HOWEVER i used the new form that did not have ANY place to be noterized. they want evidence od HIS assets and funds ( he has #######) so what do we do there?? he has MAYBE 400 in the bank..should he get his bank deposits and balance?? OR hmm??? they only asked for 2008 tax return (again its ####### but have letter explaining WHY) evidence of my legal residence or status..( birth cert of mine ...copy and a few other things) evidence of MY assets..dont really have any as I am starting over bascially. I included in the 134 like i said , letter from boss, letter from them stating I make enough with my ssi, tax return, omg the list is long are we forgeting anything and in WHAT order does this all have to be in..does it have to follow the list???? thanks...SORRY I repeated things..JUST NERVOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	July '08 filers	COUNT DOWN TO KAIS INTERVIEW I am scared they will ask for this years return which was only 10k cause it was not a full year at ALL! on top of that I claimed my neice and nephew because I made more then my sister ( they all moved in with us for a few months) AND I am not doing that till the 12th so we can have some money for our honeymoon! I think he will be fine though because I have the letter from them saying with my ssi its enough and I am above the 17500, the letter from the boss saying she will help give me overtime to meet the requirement, a letter I wrote stating why I only have one return, and one return and a reason why it was ####### LOL I am SO scared..if he does not pass it would kill me...BREATHE MERI BREATHE!! One lesson to be learned - don't sell anything or give up anything until you have Visa in hand. Back in 2002 when my Visa was approved I had my adult kids and parents take my furniture, other stuff I got rid of that I had no use for anyhow. Luckily the job I worked at also allowed any employee to take a one year leave of absence for whatever reason. Even though my heart told me that things would work out, I still went for the one year leave of absence. I actually didn't inform my place of employment that I wouldn't be back until 9 months after I had moved to the U.S. My husband to be was all for what I had done. Go to the Uscis.gov and on the right hand side on the top YOU will see *MY CASE IS PENDING*...click that in the area that says Case Services While Your Case Is Pending With USCIS you will then click Processing Times and Case Status Once there you will need to sign up and read the instructions CAREFULLY for the name and password (it drove me INSANE LOL) You will need to put your case number that you receive on the NOA1 Then once you are signed up you can go back and check IF the date is DIFFERENT then the date of your NOA1 approval THEN you have been touched! I realize it gets frustrating BUT there are others who have yet to be approved who are before you. Patience is the key and if you can't learn patience the visa process will only take longer. STAY BUSY. Start preparing for your SOs arrival and make your home amazing. Maybe buy a new piece of furniture that only is yours and your sweeties and that no one else has touched. take up a hobby. ALSO like the last poster said this is just for people on VJ and you have to remember that others in the USA who are not on vj are getting visas to..Your timeline is a great estimate of when you will get the noa2 but that might change as well. Aw hun we all know but figure it will take 4 to 5 months on an average for the NOA2..THAT is the longest part of this visa process..we are almost 4 months on the 15th SO we understand I looked at your timeline and Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 31, 2009 and February 13, 2009 So as the other poster said You have a ways to go. Be patient and read all the guides for the 2cd part of it and look up interviews all that so you both will be prepared. GOOD LUCK!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Anyone familiar with Igors List and timelines	Hello everyone, Maybe in my boredom waiting for NOA2 to arrive, I am looking to satisfy my down time, and TRYING to satisf my fiancé's thinks she will NEVER get approved, but I'm wondering if these stats on Igor's list are from VJ stats or where? These are VJ stats only..A person that is on VJ I understand, set that up:) The reason I ask, is that #1, I find it VERY hard to believe that only 1-3 -1's are being approved every week on this list?(yes, maybe people aren't updating when they get NOA2's) or maybe VJ is just ONE small segment of the overall picture of applicants? You are right, Some folks forget to update it, some have long gone and broke up and some have not been back. #2, It seems now that thru VSC , its taking 134 days average to get NOA2. I am looking at just the ones recently with NO RFE's or assumed problems, but then , if you look at the USCIS site, they state that they are NOW processing June 30th apps, but yet you will see approvals on Igors list with JULY dates, so this is very confusing to me. Not that I am saying that USCIS would ever mislead us Sweetie you have folks who are not approved since may still. There could be MANY REASONS for it. One I found out is if your name OR hers shows up on the FBI listing as a red flag , well of course they will check to see if you are this person (remember there are folks who can have the same name as yours) Other times it depends on what box they are working on. You also have to remember our files are all in manila envelopes sitting in thousands of boxes on a back shelf to. I also read that there has been an increase in K1 visas the last few months SO it is taking longer. (even though they hired 1500 people..SIGH.) there are people who do not use Visa journey, so we do not know HOW many are out there..they are getting processed to...THEN you have holidays or you get a USCIS person who is slow or is on vacation you name it. SO MANY REASONS Anyways, so I guess my question is, is Igor's List the best resource we have for checking RECENT approvals?? It is a good resource, however remember as I said before, that there are folks who are not here anymore who have not updated in forever (I personally think those folks should be removed and the ones who broke up should be removed as well!!) Just because you are number..lets say 189 might mean you are number 168...It is all luck as well..Your time line though is a very good estimate..(this can fluctuate as well...mine did..I started at December 15 to th 22 NOW I'm at the beginning of DEC. Your time line though can be less OR more though..it all depends on WHO at USCIS has YOUR file. Be well and hang in there, we are all getting there soon JB Your best bet is be patient...It is a LONG process and the NOA2 wait is the LONGEST!!!! Start planning your wedding together and STAY BUSY!!! This is one thing i never did was expect it JUST IN CASE. Stay busy and talk about your future together...start planning the wedding and stop with the what ifs, because if you worry to much it will happen hun. Again stay busy and plan your life together.
