US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	K1 visa denied	You said you knew about the previous visa application. Did you disclose it in your petition ? Did you have a time line of your relationship that explained how you two met during / after the failed relationship ? How far did the previous application go ? Did she come to the US ? If so did she leave in the 90 days ? In MY app the USCIS sent a 797 request for evidence asking about the previous App. We both sent replies acknowledging the previous app and stating "I" knew of it,and it was a mistake on their part. not sure "don't think there was a time line with APP" We met AFTER their mistake"filed APP" . Apparently their APP expired but was not canceled. I imagine the approved F-1 visa went all the way to the HK consulate, But Marie moved and thinking that the APP was expired never expected or received any mail on it. How far did the previous application go? olny the i-129f was filed, but it was Approved and Mary moved so she never recieved notice of anything after the man filed the i-129f. I just want to know where I need to start To rectify this miss trial of an interview!!!! Please any one write me with any help and experiences that may help me to get a second interview..... US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	DS160	Greetings and salutations. My Fiance, Donette, (after we filled out the ds 156, 157 etc.), had to go online and do the DS160. After she arrived for her interview, they asked why her pictures were not on it. She told them it did not allow for it. Interviewer said it was a new form, but Donette used the old form, because that is what they had online. Anyway, they took her pics she had on her old ds156-7, and attached those. In the end the interview was no good, because they needed tax forms from me, which is impossible, since I don't pay taxes. So I had to jump through a bunch of hoops, showing my VA disability award letter, Soc Sec award letter and bank statements and a long letter explaining all this. As of today, 27 January, we have heard nothing back. We had the papers delivered by cgo21 or whatever it is called, 2 days ago. Anybody know how I can contact someone at the Manila embassy to see if they actually have their hands on it now? I wrote an email and on the letter include what my phone number was and offering to jump through hoops if they needed anything else. Okay, not in those exact words. But i don't know who I can contact in person to see if they have done anything since they got them. Anyway, hoping for a swift resolution to the problems. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Women,does your spouse help you with finances for the visa process or are you doing it alone?	My now husband (the USC) paid for everything. At the time I was a single working mom with two living at home, renting a townhouse and paying for a car. After taking care of rent, utilities, groceries, etc for the three of us back in Canada, there wasn't much to spare. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	US Citizen marrying Canadian citizen abroad :)	My husband's friend (USC) tried something like that with his Canadian wife. He was up in Canada with her, brought her to the border to enter the U.S. Customs officer asked where his wife's visa or greencard was and then told them that she wasn't getting in without a visa or greencard. Asia: East and Pacific	LAND DOWNUNDER	HELP...Having a panic attack okay I only have one crappy tax return and as you know the embassy sent me the email saying with my ssi award letter of 606 a month PLUS my income of 16, 292 and the letter from boss saying she will give me overtime to meet the 125% requirement..should I be okay?? my sister has been living with me and since i made more and pay more of the bills I want to put my neice and nephew on my 2008 taxes I am filing in march. I did write them a letter explaining WHY it was low and that I am also attending school to gain better employment so i do not have to rely on ssi anymore and be able to make a better life for kai and I I included THEIR email to me..the 2007 CRAPPY tax return (explaining WHY it was so low due to JUST going back to work last year froma car wreck.) my check stubs, including the new one with the overtime on it to show I am getting overtime. I am also going to forward my bank info to him IF I file sooner...I am just worried. Even though theyh SAID i met the 125% WITH the ssi I am still freaking out.. I just want him home....I cry all the time now because its close and if they deny him I will be just peaved. I am going to school starting monday for more courses then in may I have a new job that will make 11 an hour 40 to 45 hours a week...I just want a good life with him sorry..I know I should not freak out..but I am. this whole process is making me GRAY HAIRED! Chris and mara..not yet..he did get his medical FAST though..its the 28th this month..they had a cancellation WOOT..but i sent all his visa stuff in to him so he can mail it off at the post. His printer was down and his mom would NOT let him print the visa stuff off at all.so I just helped him and printed it..it will be there on the 21st because I sent it express LOL THEN he will mail it off and get one! Well we received an email from the embassy with all the paperwork and what we need to do..he is heading down to the post to see if it came yet (hopefully they used his mailing addy and not his parents home addy) his parents know he is coming here and his father is doing okay with it but mum still thinks I am a phase and he is not moving here. She did however make a comment today that suggest she is coming around to the idea..she does not like it BUT is learning to be okay with it...WHEW...been together over 2 years..I am no phase lol... HOPEFULLY one day she will come around and realize I love her son and that I just want to take care of him and be a good wife to him...She does not want to let go yet..I do not expect her to..I have a son as well..BUT i know my son is an adult and has to make his own choices...Kais mom is one of those moms who wants to be number one She will always be his number one mom I will be his number one wife:) I love her even if she does not care for me because with out her I would not have Kai. ANYWAY enough of my crabbiness..I am still sick with the headcold and flue BLAH..I feel better but my ears and throat feel horrid! So I am making a copy AND attaching this to the I-134 along with my statement on ssi and the award letter. I also stated I am taking secretarial classes and that I sell items on ebay that I make for extra cash (WHICH shows up on the bank statement) I also have a lil over 1k in the bank and explained how I am taking the classes so that we can live comfortably and be able to adopt. It hit 2 degrees F or in celius -16 BRRR BRR BRR THEN tomorrow we are to hit about 0 or 2 below (celius is about -17 or -18 for 0f and for -2 is about -19) correct me if im wrong LOL It has NOT been this cold in over 15 years here i guess and farmers are scared. We all are. We lost hot water for a day so thank god we had some portable heaters to put RIGHT on the dang pipes!!! I slipped in this ####### and have a swollen disk in my neck so have to be super careful I need to call NVC tomorrow and find out if our NOA2 has arrived (it should I hope!!) and see if it was sent to the Embassy. I only have one tax return as I went to work last year finally...SOOOOO Its a crappy return...BUT i was told to write out a statement WHY it was low...SO I am doing that...and my employer wrote up a statement saying she would also help us meet the required 125% with overtime...She just gave me 3 days of it as is soooo I BE BUSHED LOL I cried so hard when i got that letter! I was so stressed out I was making myself sick... God is good...let me tell you he has blessed us so much the last few months!!! HUGS KATH!! and HUGS vj family! cali gifts...
