OK Now read these words:
I going to Fuking yor gremer.
The sentence is totaly wrong but you know what CIAN>>>> who cares. So keep your stpd corrections to yourself and if you realy want to correct someone, send an IM. I never put any harsh posts on the board and most of the users know about it. But I realy felt offended in here bcz it seems like you want to correct every foreign fiance.
P. OFF

Oh really? I've corrected EVERY SINGLE foreign fiance on VJ? Sorry.... this is the only one. And it wasn't because of her grammar; it was because of the chatspeak. She obviously speaks English as a second language, and does it well enough to be able to use chatspeak too. What about those who can't, though? What about someone from a non-European background who might really have trouble understanding real English words, let alone chatspeak jibberish? That is my concern. That and the "who gives a sh!t" attitude that using chatspeak conveys.

Thank you for the enlightened suggestion that I piss off. May I return the favour and suggest that you engage in an impossible act of self-copulation? Yes, I think that I may.

Good day.

That you are the foreign fiance is irrelevant. Most of the problems with your post weren't grammatical in a "not familiar" sense, but in a "ChatSpeak" sense. ChatSpeak will bring about the end of the human race.

Writing like an over-caffeinated 13 year old AOL user really annoys me. Hint: This is a message board, not a chatroom or a cell phone. Entire words CAN be typed easily, and should be. As such, here is the above post in English for any who couldn't translate it....

Pay no attention to the troll behind the curtain.

I remember this cretin now.....

"I read somewhere that people have to prove they have been together for the last few years and have a continuing relationship when they apply for the fiancee visa. Is it ok to send photos of a sexual encounter because we dont have any other evidence? Or would they refuse such picture? He is on top."

She has been over5 times in 2 years once for 6 weeks and she loves it here lets hope we can sort it!!

Have you been over here? I told you the "bad" about Greenwood in PM, but there's good too. "OldTown" Greenwood is small and quaint. To the west of Greenwood, the houses are typically on large tree-covered lots. Just south of Greenwood is Whiteland/New Whiteland. One is on one side of US31, the other on the other. They couldn't agree on something at one time, so became separate towns. They're tiny little places; barely villages. Farther south (9 miles from Greenwood) is Franklin; home of Franklin College. Franklin is a gorgeous little town. Just north of Greenwood is Southport. And just beyond that; Indianapolis.

For shopping, Greenwood has all you could ever want. Entertainment-wise.... there is some, yes. But it's only a few minutes to Indy, so your options are limitless really.

I hope you two are able to work it out. She's already been there several times. Maybe you could come here for a bit? Does your work allow leave? Do you have any vacation left? You should be able to travel here on the VWP and not use your K1 visa yet. Just a thought. Best of luck to you - both of you.

You already have a visa and now ending the rship? My guess is that you will come to the US and be with someone else, without the petitioner knowing it. Or have you asked the embassy to cancel the visa?

Just thought i should let you guys know that we have decided to call it a day and we have ended our relationship.

I was due to go over in 5 weeks time to live in the US but it became too much and the pressure was more than the love so after 2 years we are no longer going to be together.

I wish you all the best on your VJ

Peace :(

That was pretty rude....

People from the UK aren't typically clamoring to enter the US as immigrants; believe it or not. Why not just enter on the Waiver? If the intent is to stay illegally, either way would work, so why the extra effort for a K1?

I hear Wal-Mart is having a sale on Common Sense this week....

Good luck Dean! They seem to have found some old stacks of files recently at CSC, so maybe yours is there and you'll get your approval soon!

Hey congrats on your approval E&K. It's about time. Good luck with the next next step. Mexico is the only embassy in the world that is busier than Manila. So more hurry up and wait after NOA2.

Actually we just got the RFE e-mail, but after waiting for so long without any kind of news it was almost as exciting as getting the NOA2  Hey, our file is finally out of CSC limbo

Excellent, E&K!! I hope you can get that thing turned around fast and receive an approval quickly thereafter!!

Cian-

I am not SirLancelot's bets friend, true. But he is right on with this post. Just read that incredibly immature link he posted and any of Andy's numerous other inane posts.

Devilette (and perhaps PlatyPius),

I hate to tell you this, but I think you've entirely missed the point of SirLancelot's post. While he acknowledges butting heads with Andy in past posts, he actually is chuckling and congratulating Andy in this case... He's expressing something positive, bless his heart, not something negative. :) (F)

That's all fine and dandy, but amazingly enough, some people get rather upset when they are called abrasive arses and whatever else it was he called me a couple of months ago. I'll debate people's opinions, or tell them if I think they're doing something stupid, but even *I* - the original misanthropic b@stard - won't post an uninitiated attack on someone, telling them I hate them and that they're an #######.

I mean, come on.... I'm a crusty, grumpy old fart, but I almost told VJ to go #$%! itself after his attack on me. In the end I just changed my name and decided to never be helpful again. Sadly, all I have is the name change, as I can't help posting something helpful every once in a while.

We (mags and I) had to do a K2 for her son. They (London) do require a notarised letter from the father saying that he is aware that the child/children will be moving to the US, and that he is ok with that.

I think you have answered your own question...it clearly stated not arising from one single act....you stated that it was from one single act. Law enforcement will press as many chargesw an they cn during an arresst in the event that there is not enough proof for one, they still have another chance at another one. Most people plea not knowing what there chances are before a jury or because it is easier and less work for their attorney. Since they were first time felonies, you may have even been eligible for deffered adjudication. But none the less, it sounds like you would be ok. Good luck!

He stated that it wasn't from a single act. It was for 4 seperate incidents over the course of a year. Merely the arrest and charges occured at one time. Four counts of felony distribution would count as four seperate acts, I would think. You can't distribute the same "product" four times at exactly the same moment in time....

Three or more convictions for crimes relating to a controlled substance or alcohol not arising from a single act.

i was convicted of 4 felony distibution charges 11 years ago would this have impact on marrying someone from overseas? Since they where all charges at the same time and arrested and tried at the same time does that mean i can select no ? Since it kinda was a single act ? But all the charges happened thorough out a year but was charged all at once!

No, only if there were 4 charges for the same offense. For instance... "possession of narcotics, possession with intent to distribute, possession of paraphenalia, criminal recklessness." being filed for one traffic stop in which you were found with narcotics in the vehicle, and say were on the street outside a school. (I'm not sure what the actual charges would be in that case, but it was all I could think of.)

If the charges were for 4 seperate incidents, then I'm afraid there isn't much hope, really.

Bring proof of ties to England. ie: rental agreement, letter from work...something that shows that you intend to return.

Some people have been turned back, but very few from what I've seen. Since the UK is a Visa Waiver country, it's no big deal coming over to visit, usually. Like I said, just make sure you have proof that you intend to return. A round-trip ticket is a must. Goes without saying, you would think, but a couple of people have posted that they only had a one way ticket and couldn't understand why they were suspicious in customs. lol

England to US seems to be a pretty trouble-free situation, normally. Not many people get an attorney for the K1...the process isn't that difficult, and an attorney will not in any way speed it up for you. From what I've seen, they sometimes make it worse/take longer.

I filled out all of the paperwork when Mags was here for her first visit. It took a couple of hours. It was easier than filing taxes.

For a K1 Visa, the non-USC must be able to marry in his/her country of origin. Ergo, the OP would need to be able to marry in the Philippines in order to be granted a K1 Visa. So, if the PI says you have to have parental consent at 24, then you have to have parental consent.

No, this is not the USCIS rule. Both parties must be legally able to marry in the location where the marriage will take place.

You're right. I was referencing an article that was rather poorly written, in that the K1 info was mixed with the K3 info. I just saw the "must have signed letters of consent from parents" part under the heading of "K1" without realizing that they were comparing the K1 to a K3.
