Why is it getting reviewed by a supervisor and what did you send before? The original birth certificate plus a translation in english if it was in spanish and the birth certificate had to be in long form meaning both parents names had to be on it. They held my case at NVC 42 days before a case complete.... Now this stupid consulate moving.,..I'm so done!!! I thought my girls wod be here way before school starts up, now I don't even know. It's crazy how immigration has control over our lives. It's been controlling mine for the last 4 years!!! Sorry for the vent!!! I'm such a positive person but DAMN IM PISSED!!! VENTTT VENNTT AWAY!!!!!   I'm pissed too.   I've told my husband, sometimes I'm tempted to divorce him and bring him as a boyfriend, because even the fiance visas are getting approved quick. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	they pulled that line on me when I was sending letters everyday towards the end.  Of course the security checks take you out of the queue and the normal processing timeline no longer applies.     My take on that whole thing is.... My file sat in a dusty corner from April12, 2013 until February 2014 when they decided to pick it up and work on it. Then I was approved on March 18th 2014.   Its just another way for them to push you aside but make themselves look good.    11 months I will never get back.  and now they are approving files in 5 months ... sometimes less. Makes me sick.   and the February 2014 filers are starting to get approved... and those are the people who complain about the long processing times... PUUHHHHLEASSSSSSEEEEEEEE  AMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.  You don't know how fustrated I get.  I've been doing this since March 13,2013 and the same garbage.  They know about the backlog, we should all get some preference.  Maybe first class flights to the interviews lol I swear if it wasn't for VJ, I probably would've given up a lonnnnggg time ago thinking that I was a unique case. And as it's my birthday, I have one more reason to celebrate! I talked to Bruce (?), very nice guy, he told me they are still scheduling for July interviews and so there was a chance I will get one. Don't know if he just said this to be nice on my birthday, but let's hope he says the truth. Thanks to everyone for the moral support, help and a Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!! Best birthday gift so far!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	OK, folks.  It's official!!!   CASE COMPLETE AS OF JUNE 4!!!     AND, I must have good luck - I never had to speak to either Joy or AH-thur!!!!   Jim was the bearer of good news.  He didn't even ask me "What can I help you with this evening?".  He cut right to the chase and told me the case was complete!   Then, when I gently pushed, he read me the standard line about interview scheduling and it depended on how busy the consulate was, blah, blah, blah.  But he told me he loved being able to tell people good news!!!!   Now....waiting on interview scheduling....   For those of you waiting - it does appear that an "N/A" under "Affidavit of Support Fees" is a positive indicator of case complete.  My package explaining that the checklist item they wanted was 1) not required and 2) not available was scanned in on May 9th. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	All the current issues, rude customer service (last on the list), delays exceeding 30 days for everything, loss of documents, not knowledgeable in what documents needed for specific Embassies delaying case complete even further, there is so much more but can't think of them right now.      Wish I could add please add more counselors at the Cairo Egypt Embassy and get rid of the monsters now working there.  Don't think they will pay much attention to me on that one. To update on interview scheduling as well.  My case was complete in April, and even though it is our own embassies, NVC is our OBLIGATED go between while we wait for interview dates.  We've paid so much money during this process, and have spent so much time apart from our family members, updates on interview scheduling as well would help. I was told Case complete on June 2nd. I called yesterday and was told the same thing.  I even called early this morning and it was complete.  I called just now and I was told my case is NOT complete and he didn't now why I was told that.. I ask to speak to a supervisor. She looks at my case and told me there is conflicting information.   ( needless to say I am freaking out)   she said she will correct this and call me back this afternoon. Her goal is to fix this by today.  She told me they are finished the first round of July interviews as of June 2nd so I might not make a JULY interview... #######???   so as of right now I am not inline for an interview.      I swear... this is the most EFFF'd up process....
