K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Where do we file our application?	I see that the address on the instruction form for the I-129F has changed from Vermont to Lewisville, TX. My fiance (US citizen) is a member of the military and we intend to live in Louisiana after his deployment. Are all the petitions being sent to Texas now? And the fee is now $340 right? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Still no NOA1 Notification received...	@July2009 - the G325a is only one form. I read somewhere in instructions that we needed to submit 4 copies, so I made 3 copies of my original G325a form, which made four copies, and so did my Fiance. On the cover letter that they ask you to fill out and put on the front of the application it lists what should be in the pack - both the Petitioner and the Benificiary G325a's are mentioned on there so I put both ours in the package. The only thing I attached to the original G325a's were our passport size photos like it says... So we each had one original signed form, with photo attached to the back, then three copies of the original (hope this makes sense). But I'm not sure now with this paper reduction act. I would put 4 in just incase, because when my fiance called they said they not all there, but they were. @Dogspot - wow!! That is hectic!! I hope it is the NOA1 and not the I-129F!! Hey Kirsty, I'm preparing my K1 package to mail out next week and am planning on putting in tabs to separate the different parts of the application- is that a bad idea? In an earlier post you mentioned something about USCIS thinking that the G325A form was covered up by a tab or something like that? If you could explain a little more I'd really appreciate it! Thanks! Hey! No no, tabs are good to seperate each section. The person just said that they saw a tab saying "petitioners G-325a form" and thought there was only one copy - didn't bother to look behind the passport photo where the other three copies were. Not sure why, because we had another tab after his saying "benificiary G-325a form" and they never questioned there "not being another 3". It is a very good idea to use tabs (at the bottom of the page though - not the sides. I read this in one of the instructions). It just makes it easier for them to see if all is in order (in our case i'm not sure why they didn't just check). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Still no NOA1 Notification received...	Hi, I understand that you are upset but at this point there isn`t much you can do about it. Believe me in in a short period of time you will forget about this issue. The entire process is a long and detailed. You are going to have to learn to expect possible delays, errors, ect. This may end up being the only slow down in your entire process. Just feel happy that it`s the USA govt handling this for you In many many other countries this process may take even longer. The USCIS isn`t perfect but I think it`s safe to say they are efficient the majority of the time. Time seems to go by much slower when you are waiting for something like this so patience is a must. In a way it`s getting you ready for marriage which is also about patience,understanding and trial and error. Yes i agree with you. I am happy though that the process is going to start now. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Still no NOA1 Notification received...	We also sent ours in on Friday Oct 1. We got the email notification on Tuesday Oct 5. We got the postal letter on Thurs Oct 14. Also keep in mind that Monday Oct 4 was a Holiday. I`m sure that slowed the mail down a day. I`m guessing you will get yours Monday or Tuesday. Did you send your K-1 overnight mail or just regular mail ? I sent ours Priority mail which guarantees delivery in 2-3 days. I sent it to the regular mailing address and not the Express mail address. My Fiance sent it Priority mail too, it was delivered there 6th October, and he sent it to the regular mailing address too. Mine took about a week I think to get the hard copy after I got the email/text, but it could take longer! Give it another few days, but make sure to keep checking your mail Yup, we did send the G-1145 form in Well i'm just holding thumbs and hoping today or tomorrow is our day... My Fiance sent the I-129F package on the 1st October and when he tracked the package it said that it was delivered on the 6th October in Texas. We still haven't received an NOA1 notification, should we be worried or can my Fiance call the USCIS to check the status of our application so far? We are just so eager to be together in the same country again and this waiting is driving me insane I know i should probably be more patient, but i see other people have received their NOA1 within a few days after sending their application off. We on to our 16th day after sending it off and 11 days since it was delivered! So i can't help but worry a bit... Any advice would be great. I apologize for posting wrong information.   "There are no numbers of visas allocated per country. It's just one total number for worldwide. However there is a per country cap of 7%. Basically a single country can't consume more than 7% of the total worldwide visas (all categories combined) . If they do, they get capped. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	Am I mistaken, or does it look like NSC is processing February filers while CSC is processing March filers? This may not be a bad thing for April filers because there are less February filers outstanding. If what I am seeing is correct, I am hoping that NSC can finish up the February filers and go to April filers soon. You're mistaken. Plenty of March filers in the NSC. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	I am worried about one thing is it true people are getting approve or they are just saying so we get frustrated that why we don't haven't got any notice from service centers. Some people are getting approvals or RFE's after the transfers. But the percentage we've been seeing is negligible.  We're tracking the transfers in the March Filers thread via a spreadsheet if you want to get an idea of what's going on.  I don't think there's any use transferring all of our cases if we're just going to continue the same abysmal adjudication rates at a new location. Next they will look into April filers. My PD is March 20th, and I haven't gotten a transfer notice. I don't think they're even close to clearing out March's cases yet. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April 2013 I-130 Filers	In the first week of september, I had send an email to USCIS ombudsman stating that there is no processing time for NBC and therefore we do not know if our file is beyond normal time. I am not claiming that my email was the reason that they recently added the processing time for NBC. But if it is, please stone me to death. I also sent a letter to the same effect in September. Maybe they got a bunch of them and that's why they added their ridiculous date, so avoid having to deal with petitions who are obviously outside of normal processing times since there are so many of us.   I just see it as another slap in the face. The one small amount of recourse we have in the system, and they work as hard as they can to shut that right down instead of actually fixing the problem. By the end of May it will have been almost 9 months of waiting ...        Ugh. So ridiculous. The volume and trend charts on the USCIS right now are not encouraging. If you're getting in 40k+ a month, and you're processing 29K a month, and have a backlog of 355K+, well, those numbers don't bode well. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	September 2013 I-130 Filers	I wonder how they reconcile that message with the claim that they will be back to 5 months processing time by May?  I sincerely hope that it's just a canned response and is as accurate as any message about processing times sent out by the USCIS. (Which is to say, not at all.)    I have to tell you (and I posted it in another thread) but I got a letter back from my congressman's office. You see, I called because the processing average says 7.4 months, the processing date is Feb. 12, 2013 (Which does not equal 7.4 months), my transfer notice said that I'd get an answer within 60 days, and when I called to check on it, the automated voice system said to wait 180 days. Right, so no clarity there. The letter I got back from the congressman's office said that I'd been expedited (No) and sent to Nebraska (yes) on November 11, 2013 (No.) Then it told me that I could probably expect a 5 month "weight time" (I wish I were making this up) but it was taking about 3 months from the transfer date. (How is this supposed to be an expedite, btw?) It ended with what I assume was supposed to be a sentence, but was actually a confusing sentence fragment.  All in all, rather disappointing, but I'm not surprised.    I'm hoping we'll get our approval soon, too! And everyone who's stuck in this stupid backlog. I've seen a couple people that I've been privately rooting for get approvals, and I've been so happy for them. Mr. Blueberry received a letter from his congressman yesterday.   After a review of our systems it was found that Case MSC 139xxxxxxx Form I-130 filed on behalf of  Mr. Blueberry is currently pending. The estimated processing time for I-130 petitions is an additional six months from today?s date.  These delays are due to workload factors not related to your constituent?s case.  If your constituent does not receive a decision or other notice of action from USCIS by that date, please contact your USCIS congressional liaison again.       No word about were our file actually is and that's what we wanted to know I knew USCIS would give us their standard brush off response, but it still hurt a bit. We didnt receive the hard copy ,my husband was here in the philippines so we didnt make any move until he came back in US dec 29. They told us they will send the hard copy agsin and wait for 15 days.weve waited and nothing. We called again and they told us to wait fir another 15 days again. 15 days is over again and nothing. I keep on telling to myself to be patient but its so frustrating going through this. Im a Nurse and not working now because of waiting for this visa. Get your Congressional Person's Immigration Liason on the phone and ask for their help. Also may want to contact the Ombudsman. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	I hesitated to make this post, I wish it could be more useful and less stressful to my fellow filers suffering through the process, but maybe it'll spread some hope anyway. Received my approval notice late last night and it was a very much needed bit of good news. USCIS didn't email me until almost 12 hours after my status updated, so I recommend you guys follow your status online and don't rely on their alerts.    NOA1: June 12 Transfer to CSC: Dec 23 NOA2: January 7   So this is after CSC approved a June 12 and a June 14 filer last Friday -- they're really running through their cases. I have no idea what will happen at Texas or Nebraska but I'm definitely sticking around to see (and to help). My fingers are crossed for all of you.
