K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Time between receipt and NOA1?	Wondering if there is an "average" time between receipt of the K1 package we sent, and getting the NOA1 and a 'file number'. Thanks! Danielle For me- Mailed to TSC on a Friday- 15 days later the NOA1 arrived in the regular mail from CSC. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I-797C Notice of Action	Sometimes it takes a day or so, or in some cases a week or more for your case number to show up online. Sounds like you've received your NOA1. Be patient, try again in a few days. When my husband and I submitted our AOS stuff it took over three weeks for the case numbers to show up online. Thanks Karen, sounds like that is what is happening. I also tried calling to check the status and it told me it was not in the system either. I'll wait a day or so and try again. So you think this is the NOA1... YAY! Such a small step... but so exciting to have this finally in the process! Blessings to all! Definately sounds like the NOA1! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA2 at last!	Hi all! I have been lurking here for a little while and just wanted to pass along some good news to April applicants with the CSC. My Fiancee and I got our NOA1 on April 26 and got the NOA2 notification on September 6 & an email from the USCIS on September 8. I just do not know what to do... have written to the Embassy and they have not responded... have been trying to call them for 4 days now and they do not answer the phone. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Spoke to USCIS	I spoke to the USCIS a short while ago and was told that they send the petition directly to the Embassy/Consulate and that if in 90 days I have no news from the Embassy that I should call them and they will make some kind of referral request to that Embassy/Consulate. The woman I spoke to said that the NVC does not even come into the picture. That I have been given wrong information. I am left quite confused I have to admit. I empathise with you... all I can say is hang in there... we got our noa2 in 3 months... but our petition has been misplaced it seems for no one can tell us where it is... it has been 5 months of waiting... K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Spoke to NVC again	Why when something is wrong or missing do they have to make you wait so long before they do something? Is it really that hard? I was suprised if they NVC loses something in the mail to you they even make you wait a month before they will remail it. Seems like alot of this waiting is not necessary Melo try not to worry about your petition things will work out. Maybe if your calling the NVC and speaking to an operator is the problem ask to speak to a supervisor. When I call the NVC I get alot of the same operators who just seem like they are reading a line on a screen and dont know what they are talking about. Hope they find your petition soon! I was told that once 90 days from the date on the NOA2 have passed, to phone the NVC and they will tell us what to do. That date will be the 22nd March 2006.
