K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Question on G-325a	The forms are the same for both the US citizen and the foreign fiance. The form contains 4 pages (each page is identical except for a small notation on the bottom corner). When you submit this form it should contain the original signatures of each person on all four pages (a total of 8 pages) Technically your fiance could only sign your form as your legal representative if there is a power of attorney or other such legal power. Much easier forr you to download the forms from the internet and send the signed forms through the mail (maybe using some kind of expressed service?) There is also a space on the forms (was it the G-325 or the 129) where the finace will sign his/her name and address in her native alphabet if it is not English. Not sure if this applies to you. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Can AnyOne Help?	The sad part is ITS GETTING WORSE!! NO one in gov seems to be hearing our pleas for HELP!! SO WHAT DO WE DO? I completely sympathize with your frustrations and anger!! And I have no clue as to why CSC is processing or not-processing petitions in the order that they are ...... That said, I would definitely recommend writing a letter to your Senator asap and asking to his/her office to make an inquiry into your case and either 1) push it along, or 2) get answers. Best of luck to you, and try to hang in there just a little longer ..... it can't possible be much longer. Been there done that and never received any response at all. I have heard through grapevines that even the inquiries in to immigration are not being done either. This seems to be a very hot topic right now at our borders and no one wants to touch the subject or dont want to rock the boat bec someone in GOV cant make up their minds on a solution. I second Tom's suggustion to use the data here to put together a request for your Congressional reps to look into the matter. Be sure to aks for the aide who handles immigration issues. It's the aides that do the work not the reps. One congressional aide is not equal to another congressional aide. Some are more competent than others. Keep calling until you get one who is sympathetic and can address the issue. Good luck! We have received our first notice of action but we cannot track the I 129F forms at the Texas Service Center where we filed our application to estimate how long the wait will be from here. Are they sending them to another Service Center? Was you NOA1 issued by California or TSC? I also sent mine to TSC and receivd the NOA1 from CSC. See my timeline signature line. If so you only need to send in the originals with signatures as required by USCIS (see guide for which ones) and copies are aceptable for other documents (e.g. birth certificate, evidence etc- again the quide will help you). Suppose that this is a reasonable guess of how many applications they have. Looking at the Immigration Timelines, we have 1150 applications so far in 2006, which will probably mean about 1500 for the year. Thus we are about 5% of the applications. When presidential polls are done of 100,000,000 voters (a guess), they poll about 1000-1500 people, and get results that are accurate within 3%. If our membership is typical of K1 applicants, then analysis of our applications is probably a pretty good picture of what's going on with all applicants. Overall, Internet users may be more affluent and/or computer savy than others. But if you don't meet the poverty guidelines (directly or with help), then you probably won't start the process. Thus it would surprise me if VJ members are substantially different than the rest of the applicant pool. Also some steps in the process are totally independent of income. For instance, a name check at NVC or shipment to a consulate are the same, no matter your income. Tom It's so lovely to have a statistican in the VJ family. To show proof of on-going relationship, I am using a printout list of all emails in that folder (shows To, From, Subject, Date etc) and then giving a few samples of emails from each of us dated throughout the relationship. I called the service center again after waiting a week and after much encouragement from my daughter. I was scared to call after the last lady I spoke to. I actually got someone willing to help me. She sent an email to the service center saying I havent heard anything in 60 days. So I am keeping my fingers crossed that this will do it for me. Sometimes taking a nap clears out the bad thoughts and you can think clearer. Hope this works for you and you hear something soon. I've heard a theory floated that we can expect faster processing times if we submitted using the new, post-IMBRA forms. And I've seen a few people on this list receiving NOA2s out of California in two months or less. I'm an impatient man. I think we all are on this forum. Anything to this theory of faster processing times on the horizon? Wishful thinking sometimes comes true....wishing very hard right now The NOA1 should be coming soon. I strongly suspect it's under the control of other forces. And I understand that their very best delay experts then get promoted/transferred/deported to China, where it can easily take 6-7 months from NOA2 to interview.
