K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	APPROVED	I was just typing an email to my Elena, Telling her it has been 152 days since USCIS notified us they had received our I-129 Petition and I felt we would be approved soon. While typing, Windows started going nuts with email notifications from USCIS. 5 in all!!!!! Well guys it finally happened!!! I want to know that when i go online status and i try to log in with my id it dnt comes up as i use to see that when i got last updated now i dont see so pls tell me now at online status will i be knwing that when my case reach nvc and when nvc send the case to islamabad PAKISTAN If i understand you correctly, there is no way to check your status online after the NOA2 is received. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Anybody passed 170 days for NOA2 since filing the K-1 petition?	got approved with NOA2 after 189 days now i want to know how long it take for the uscis to send the petition to NVC and from NVC to the american embassy in islamabad PAKISTAN pls help me with ur advice Could take 2-4 weeks to get to NVC and generally a week at NVC before overnighting with DHL to the consulate. You can call NVC to check on your new case number and its progress, but you must talk to a live operator. The automatic system does not work for K-1s. I havent got my NOA1 in the mail yet but I got the copy of the cashed check and got my case number off the back,*Thanks to whoever posted that tip about getting it off the check dont remember who it was but big ty!* Now heres my question. I went to the gov site and registered with my case and email, and when I look at my case all it says is: Current Status: Your I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was received on November 3, 2006. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates. So when you get *touched* what does it say and does it show it on the same page? And is this my NOA1? or will it actually say NOA1 when I have reached that? Thanks Again, Cat You will recieve your paper NoA1 in the mail and it will same the same thing here. You can check for "touches" when you log into the case portfolio. This page shows your case number, whether you want e-mail notifications and the date your case was last updated. You can get a touch and the message on your case doesn;t necessary change. So the NSC has received my I-129F application approx 10 days ago and they haven't cashed my check...I have yet to recieve a receipt, I know that the average time from submission to the NOA1 is approx 2-3 weeks but ####### is going on? Did anyone get anything from NSC that filed around the same time I did. Thanks... Give it a few more days. My NOA1 came in the mail before they cashed my check and it took a little more than 2 weeks. Or you could sit and wait without knkowing why it was updated. You never know. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	New Timelines for CSC/NSC/TSC	No one is more familiar with this data that you are so if you are comfortable with leaving March off, then I trust your judgement, CSC timeline dates are now listed as April, so any Marcher left has the means now to push for an answer beign outside of processing times right? Thats what I was thinking. Anyone left from March now has a legit reason to ask the USCIS to investigate. The same thing could be said for April. USCIS processig dates are now May. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Has anyone here used a lawyer for k1 visa?	Yeah there just might be able to if there satisfy the following conditions 1. He works for USCIS which means he approves your petition. 2 He also works for NVC which means your case gets transfered directly from his office to the embassy. 3.He is also the CO at the embassy where your fiance/fiancee would be having his/her interview,and also oversees the administrative aspects of the workings at that embassy which would help you a great deal in getting out packet 3 and scheduling an interview date. It does however explain why the occasional member hasnt gotten an RFE for same. I'm so thrilled! Unfortunatley I'm sitting in the office where no one knows I'm planning on leaving yet. I have to try and contain myself so as not to attract too many odd questions. Congratulations! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Any approvals with July NOA1 Date	I'm in the same position with a confusion over received date and NOA1 date. My NOA1 says receipt date Aug 29 & Notice date Sept 5. The USCIS online account for my case number states Sept 5 as my receipt date. I'd like to think CSC would move my file in the pile between the Aug 28 & 30 files, but the website tells me it was received Sept 5. I guess a weeks worth of petitions isn't going to make that much difference, but it is confusing when trying to fill out my timeline.
