K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	General CSC Rant	I guess I was hoping for all the adjudicators to have a horrible hangover and just rampantly approve things so they could go home and go to bed That's funny...I'm guilty, too. They just got my petition today, and I was hoping for NOA1...I didn't think that was too much to ask for... Mine went through Texas too. You can see my signature for a timeline to give you an idea of when that NOA1 comes. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	would it help to explain the age difference in the initial application??	The age difference is shown in the intial petition with the biographical sheets. USCIS will not deny a petition based on this difference. The only reason an age difference is a red flag is that it often occurs in fraudulent cases. At the consulate level you will ned to be prepared to show you are a legitimate couple if the age difference is a question asked. Good luck. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	USA Entry With My Fiancee?	My fiancee passed her interview at the US Embassy in Manila, received her visa and was approved to come to the USA on a K1 Fiancee visa. I purchased plane tickets for myself and my fiancee and I will be leaving in October to the Philippines where I will stay for 2 weeks to help my fiancee pack her belongings and to spend time with her family before we fly back to gether to the US. Am I allowed to escort my fiancee back into the US ? Or does she have to fly here alone? I am asking because someone from this site said they did not think that was allowed and that my fiancee would have to fly to the US alone. Is that true? Does anyone know the answer to that. I never heard of such a thing. You can fly back together, but you may not be allowed into the immigration process area with her (two separate processing lines). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Very, Very Few K-1 Approvals	According to the VJ timeline (that is those that have imputed their NOA2) there were 41 approvals for K-1 between 1 Oct and 13 Oct (as of 8pm CST). 13 of these were out of VSC 28 were CSC (including TSC & NSC). Vermont is in most cases faster than California, but you must file to the location listed as appropriate for your address cited intehh form instructions. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	what are they doing??	It seems like USCIS decided to pass over the remaining March, April, and May petitions. I hardly ever see any approvals with these NOA1 dates anymore. It's very discouraging. I think they forgot about us. We should just start all over and send in new petitions, I think it would be quicker. If I read the guidelines correctly, if the USCIS has went beyond the 60 days as stated on the NOA1, you have grounds for an Expedite request. Granted all that will do is get you form one waiting line to the next one at NVC. We are at 30 days since our NOA2 approval and NVC still claims CSC has not sent the NOA2 ot them. With thier tracking system, I do not trust them. good luck, Payato I think its 60 days past an RFE not 60 days pass the NOA1 for an expedited request to look at your file again. So I checked mine- moved up one day overnight. My timeline has been a rollercoster moving up and down by a month since mailing in the petition. The estimate has ranged from Nov 25 to Dece 27. Already, I'll have one of the longest waits for the June filers - even if my approval came today, I'm already at day 121...sigh. I'm wondering if things such as my previous divorce or the fact that Jinky has a child, slows down the approval process? With all those touches at the end of the week last week, I am praying that it means approval soon. A lot of people were getting approvals after sending in the IMBRA RFE in about 2 weeks right? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Advice Needed Please	Ahmed and I have a photograph of us wearing our wedding rings and we are debating as to whether or not we should include it with the photos he is taking to the interview. Would this be interpreted as a sign of us already being married, and thereby jeopardizing the K-1? Or would it be considered as proof that we intend to get married, and thereby strengthen our case? I have read similar discussions about couples including photos of their engagement ceremony and how it could cause problems, but this photo didnt quite seem to fall in the same category. Has anyone else wrestled with this sort of thing? Any advice or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Gabi and Ahmed My opinion is not to include it. I think I understand why you might want to send it. You probably want to show pictures of you as a committed real couple and this shows that. BUT I think the consulate officers care more about catching any whiff of fraud- whether it is real or not. I wouldn't want to raise any doubt as to the eligibility of obtaining a fiance visa. Folks in or around my timeline are hoping for a thankgiving NOA2 and I'm here hoping and thinking that a NOA2 around January would be very good and that everything would be over by July if everything went well. Well all in all for us it may be better to look farther down the road and avoid a possible heart attack or bout of depression if the date passes. For recent filers (without RFEs), NOA2s have been coming out in an average of about 70 days from mailing. An average means some are waiting longer and others are a little quicker. We are only projecting here and hoping to be one of those who easily gets through. The VJ timeline is a little skewed because it contains March, April and May filers (caught in Imbra or has otehr RFEs) still waiting.
