I was in the last group of people with the same NOA1 date to be approved and then they never bothered telling I was approved for an additional week- which was really hard to get through! Cases are handled in the order that are recieved, but some are more or less complicated to sort through. I worried endlessly about an RFE. One reason was the Moroccan immigration agents seem to like to stamp my entry and exit dates on the same page and it made it a little more difficult to read. Add to that the last exit stamp didn;t stamp clearly and at the gate a morrocan immigration agent hand wrote over the number to make it clear. I was sure USCIS would think I did that. I included boarding passes and other evidence of being in the country at that time so I guess my ajudicator finally sorted it all out. I never received an RFE. If you will look at all the other people that have been sent to the embassy al;ready you will see that noone has been sent straight to the embassy ,they all have been to the NVC and have gotten there embassy case number. This is the only fact we do know regarding this- no one that was told their case was being sent directly to the embassy/consulate has gotten confirmation that it occured. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-1, K-3, evidence for I-129F etc.	The requirement for the K-1 is rather simple and straight forward. Show evidence you did meet at least once in the last 2 years. Photos are considered secondary evidence, so I would send 1-2 of what you have of her in HK and and you in CA. The strongest evidence you have is the passport stamp and finacial records. You can then concentrate on gathering the evidence needed for the interview to show this is a valid relationship. You can expect approval for her petition to have you considered for the fiance visa 3-6 months after you mail everything in. Then you woul dhave to check on the length of time it would take to schedule the interview and process the visa in HK. Most couple can do this process in 6-9 months. Your receipt (NOA1) should come in a couple weeks from when you mailed it to Texas because it will be forwarded to California. Kangjie's case is the same as mine. We haven't heard any news since the day we mailed our I-129F to TSC (it is almost more than 12 days already). Hopefully, what you said is right that our receipt (NOA1) should come in a couple weeks. My NOA1 arrived regular mail 16 days after mailing- even before the check cashed. Witht he holiday mail out there, mail could be a little slower. Some have recieved their NOA1 up to a month afterwards. USCIS goes by receipt date, if that helps. If you qualify though USCIS and he qualifies at the level, he will be given a visa to enter the US and must marry you within 90 days. Get married and then file to get a visa for a spouse. There are several routes if you are already married which you can choose from. Click on the Guides tab at the top of the visa journey homepage. You can read all about each of these options. Only you will know which one is the best for you and your fiance. Good Luck. How much money will these visas cost? Depends on the route you go. It's not cheap, but you do not need to pay everythign up front. I am doing the fiance visa route. Probably won't make you feel any better, but if you think about the tons of March/April/May filers (including VSC) who got stuck in the nightmare of IMBRA, it might put your wait in perspective. It took us 168 days for approval simply because of the IMBRA fiasco. I joined VJ in the middle of that mess. I remember you, Gary & Luz and lots of others waiting and waiting and waiting.
