There's a lot of conflicting info/opinion about your next step - based on what you've written in this post. --ask you for more proofs vs --casefile sent back vs --you sending stuff into the Embassy. but we really can't tell you what the next step will be unless you tell us the contents of that document. It's tax season and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. Anticipated thanks for responses! MAYBE - if there were a marriage contract signed prior, and the marriage was set up as a 501c(3 ) non-profit organization. You'd have an extremely difficult time setting that up, IMO. Even if you think you find the tracking info? Guess What? is 65 percent chance it will stay in the China Customs Bonded Warehouse anywhere from 1 to 4 more months. At this moment, you need other players - Specifically the NVC hotline and the DoS Hotline. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NVC can't find our file!?	I've heard of: 1. USCIS keeping the caesfiles in a stack, next to the mail room, as there's some backlog 2. USCIS keeping the casefiles in a stack until they MAKE a big enough stack to send out to NVC 3. NVC Mailroom OPS being bogged down, where the casefile hits the door but takes 6 weeks before it's reviewed by a human or a Consulate IV Casefile number assigned 4. Casefile lost between shipment, between USCIS and NVC. So, if you emailed off a scan of the NOA-2 postal letter to NVC - give them a breath of time to do some research, aye? Start calling again on Wednesday evening, after 6 PM EST (IMO) as that'll give them fed workers some time to catch up from the backlog generated over the holiday break. Bear in mind, humans you speak to at the front line - are contractors with SERCO - they be clueless on physical casefile contents - all they see is a terminal in front of their eyeballs - you may need to engage with a supervisor to get actual, pointed info. There's no record of any K-1 traffic on the AVR at NVC. Does anyone have a number for USCIS that doesn't involve pushing buttons when prompted by a computer!? I have even selected the 'I can't find my receipt number' option andit tells me to call back between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday. IT'S AFTER 8AM ON A MONDAY! WHATS THE PROBLEM!?! One can make it complicaed by thier rules. You can change it. If you want to. Your choice. We did it so can you. Face to face. Things have changed since you first filed yer I-129F. It's been a long time, ya? Stuff that worked for you 5 years ago - is not the same as TODAY, in GUZ IV land. Now married to her mom and she has green card. I have a document about children that was signed in 2002 which reads the following: On August 6, 2002, the President signed into law the Child Stutus Protection Act (CSPA), Public Law 107-208,116 Stat. 927 which amends the Immigration and Nationality Act (Act) by permitting an applicant for certain benefits to retain classification as a "child" under the Act, even if he or she has reached the age of 21. I was told by USCIS that the wait for Russia was 9 years for her mom to petition but after I called and asked my wife had friend do some digging and found this information and she has been told that I had the daughter on my original petition and I am still able to get her here. Does anyone know the details if this is TRUE or UN-TRUE Thanks there was a window of 1 year to handle the K-2, or K-2 follow to join, starting from the date yer lass got the k-1 visa stamp at the IV unit. Does anybody know a way 1. E5-B visa or 2. immigrate to New Zealand - then after she has the NZ passport, Mom files the I-130 on her. Less time for NZ than PI for these types o Visas. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Very complex case	there is only a IMBRA count on I-129Fs - cannot file for 2 I-129Fs within 2 years. As is, I sense he's fine. No need to file for any waiver, as it's been more than 2 years since he filed that I-129F for a K-3. I may be missing something, though. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Very complex case	One thing that is not clear - the ex came in on a K-3 - but - did she adjust status afterwords, to obtain a green card? IF NO - then she's not gonna count on any affadavit of support document, as the I-134 is not legally binding. If the Adjustment of Status paperwork was filed, resulting in a subsequent GREEN CARD, then an I-864 was filed - and THAT ONE will still be in effect for some time. So, since Dad is out of the USA for 3 years, he's abandoned his permanent residency status - so that's a good thing - MINUS ONE in the headcount.
