The only advantage i have filing jointly ...a stimulas package $ 600. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH VSC	I have been noticing so much delay in the way VSC approves its petitions unlike CSC.The CSC is approving all petitions left and right including late jan/ feb filers.Does anyone has any idea why VSC not approving at all There is signifiant difference in their processing ...I was trying to find valid reason other than backlog which CSC has had too. Do you think VSC is busy processing H1's , does CSC process H1 too? Unfortunately I cannot think of any valid reason why VSC is treating US citizens who filed at VSC. Your touch on your file with a February NOA1 is very good news as it obviously means that someone has your file .... and if someone has your file, then Amastar's February NOA1 approval may not have been a fluke, and it is very possible that 'someone' may just have been allocated some February NOA1 files ..... come on VSC adjudicator, let's see some more February NOA1 approvals this week. It's possible that someone is working on the January NOA1's as they have definately been started and maybe someone else has started the February one's ... super news!! The process of adjudicating my case was started this morning about 10am Vermont time ... the date was changed on the USCIS website and my Senator's office has been updating us by email via Vermont today. This was an expedite under the criteria of National Interest backed up with Financial Hardship, Humanitarian, a US Army Commander and a kick ####### Senator. I'm a bit happy at the moment, so I will post the details of the expedite later in a hope that it will help others too. Right now I just want to hug the Colonel and especially the Senator .... the man whose team made this happen! Expedites are not impossible .... I also want to thank a certain person on this website who truly pi**ed me off last week as without her I wouldn't have had the fire up my ####### to pull the paperwork together so quickly ... and involve every Tom, ####### and his dog in my case to get it approved. The reason being USCIS needs 3 months to send to NVC!!! It gets stuck in their mailroom!!! I just got off the phone with USCIS and I was so mad and disappointed because they stated to me last week that they had send out my petition on 3/25 (how funny before it got approved ), but I just found out that when they state send out, that just means to their mail room, and it can take up to 3 months to be sent out from their mail room to NVC WHAT THE HECK!?!?!??!?! I am feeling like why , this is so Disorganized !!! That is why you see people that just got approved last week with a case number already assigned to them from NVC and others who been waiting weeks still with no Case #....We are still in the MAIL ROOM of USCIS I contacted NVC and they stated that they enter a case into their system as soon as they recieve it in their mail room, therefore the hold up is still with USCIS Anyone else waiting for NVC to assign a case number, this might be the reason....
