Just dial that 603#, press so many 1's until to enter your I-130 receipt#. Then hear the message. To get 603# is little difficult, but if you do redial 3 to 10 times at the same time, it will be connected My 2 cents... LOL ok thanks!! il chek the mail today ... and see if the hardcopy came.. and then after work il call the 603# and try to figure out how to get to the uscis receipt number thingi.. thank!! I am the US citizen ....wife in india...I have couple of concerns ? Do we get originals back during interview? How are you getting PCC (police clearance certificates) ? do they need any request letter from uscis or just simply apply at Passport and local police head quarters?? ok even im the us citizen.. ya i heard we do get the originals bak at embasy.. so dont wory but i would make lots of copies of eveyrthin we mail.. and get the PCC from the local offices.. my husband did that today.. it wil be in his hands within 15 days or earlier.. noneed to request USCIS for anything NOW LOL hope this helps	hyd617	Female	India	2008-04-23 16:16:00

LOL ya kity i got approved this mornin at 445 am i got a text mesage on my phone sayin i received an email from CRIS ( i have the mobile alert switched on my yahoo mail) and filtered for only CRIS text mesages LOL so i rolled out of bed almost FELL out , scrmabled for the keyboard. took 5 min to sign in cuz myhands were shakin.. saw the aproval got aphon care went to ccall huby and he told me why r u awake so early LOL i said cuz i got a text mesage on my phone sayin WE GOT APPROVED!! he was so happyyyyyy woke my whole house up!! told eveyrone.. we r so relieved.. now we know yalls r comin too!!!! good luk!! im so excited i cant concnetrate on anything!!!!! I just went to check on the online status for my case... I was scared!! I dont exactly know if its because I might still see the old date (feb 24) or of how I will react to see an approved status!! Thanks for the tip Hyd, I dont know how to get the alerts to my phone in the first place .. but I shall try to play with it. Had me goin crazy thinking they needed an official marriage certificate or something. But when i talked to the operator she said she did not see any RFE on my case, so it could very well mean no RFE for you. And the My date is problably your completion date so it sounds like you are getting close. What I'm thinking is that VSC pulled adjucators off I-130 to process I-129F's for the K1 folks. That is why its taking so long for you guys to get approval. I'm still praying for you all. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Guys-----RFE trick notworking any more	Hey guys.....I called VSC using RFE trick .. this afternoon..I guess nice young lady picked up phone and told me to call same 800 ---(BS) number but donot enter receipt number that will lead to customer service.She says we are not supposed to give any info about the petition ...and told me same old 6 months ...time #######... Is it same with CSC.. I really donot like Immigration process the way citizens are being treated.I did see how ppl here getting frustrated missing their loved one for months to years ...they donot understand at all...another thing its hard to explain situation to your frustrated , angry, waiting loved ones ...lol....all I tell my wife develop lot of patience(as advised by LOTO ...lol) If they are eating food like any normal human being everyday , they should stick their butt to chairs and work hard to clear up all files .....minimize the processing time lol If not the god will punish those in hell . .........bunch of crappy ppl working for nothing..	sgr	Male	India	2008-04-24 16:33:00

I hope thats what it means! but i have also heard that its an automated response and that since you prompted that number about "we requested more info" then it just automacitally says that..but hyde..you didnt get that did you? weird. who even knows nope i dint get that.. i just pushed prompts that led me to somethin abt if u received a letter from uscis requiring additional doc please pre.. then entered my recpeit number. and then someone pikum up sayin good mornin vermont service center.. mine said nothin abt rfe? I just want to know something soon. I am tired of trying to figure this out. the stress is affecting our marriage since we have enough stresses with it anyway. Sometimes, date goes back due to the reason (one guy got RFE and he/she sent the docs back to the USCIS and when they posted the date on the web site periodically, it was that bad guy's priority date), not because of one file sitting inside a drawer. Why some people is getting approvals faster than others could be for many reasons: 1) Which officer handles the case 2) If the application is clean (with all required docs and completely filled forms) 3) If it is expedited case 4) And so many other unknown factors... But personally, I don't like USCIS the way they work. Recently, they have made tremendous improvements such as speeding up FBI name check, adding additional staff (of course, with our money) etc. I know couple of my friends who are stuck in FBI name check for more than 2 year !!! FBI has to clear 300,000+ cases from the name check. Thats not true completely ...loto ...Most of us when we send an application , we go through application 100 times making sure everything is correct including check ...and other docs...b/c we want our spouses in our hands ASAP..(means application is clean on our side lol) But they may get dirty and kept behind the log if an officer hands are dirty ..lol ....Then another officer wakes up with clean hands will take some time to clean the dirt on file to approve it faster lol .....See Dirt to clean is taking longer time ...
