K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Proof of Relationship	We had very few pictures, we do better talking about taking pictures than actually taking them Nancy is Canadian which I believe has been a big help in this whole crazy process, when she was at the Hong Kong consulate she got quite worried because we didnt have tons of pictures like she saw the other people with. She said they gave the Filipinas a hard time form the things she could overhear. She had a few cards I had sent, some pictures, various emails and chats from different times in our relationship, and of course the passport stamps from her visits to me (she made 4 trips total to see me). Their major concern at the consulate was how often did we talk or see each other, her answer to the lady was "a few seconds ago, my fiance is ####### ", I was like "hey!!" after she told me. Its pretty simple to get there its just north of 6-10 on 290, on the west side of 290, black glass building. There can be a small wait, both times I think it took less than 45 minutes total. Remember no cellphones, leave em the car if not they will ask you to take it out to your car. Other than that pretty easy. Hi, I ran into a similar situation, my wife on her way back to Canada had a stop in the US this was before we were married, she was enroute from to Hong Kong to Canada through Chicago. I went crazy trying to find out and figure out if they were going to activate her K-1 as she went through immigration and customs to get to her connecting flight. The supervisor for immigration at O'hara told me it was basically up to the immigration officer, but usually if they see them (VISAs) they have to activate them. So long story short I would plan on them activating it if they see it. Luckily in our case the flight from Hong Kong to Chicago and then Canada was delayed, and she got a direct flight to Toronto not going through the US. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Need Advice With K1 Documents	If you are talking about the Letter of Intent to Marry, I personally would wait until you actually got an interview date and then send one out ASAP. Otherwise follow the guides that is what they are here for. <points you up on the screen.> The guide suggests what you should be doing in between different steps. Personally, I waited to till Nancy got the interview date and then we got the things they requested together. I was lucky and had the luxury of her being with me when we sent off the original Packet and then she came to visit me after she get her interview date which is when she got the next set of paperwork she needed. They may question why he gets his mail at one place and lives at another, just be prepared, they many not even ask, as long he can consistently get his mail is what I would worry about. NVC can and will be slow, during our process we had almost no contact from them other than to say our case has been transferred to the embassy in Hong Kong, as soon as that happened we got a letter in the mail saying the case was being processed in Hong Kong. To the OP: You need to resolve whatever your issues are before you EVEN contemplate having a relationship, as Fuked up as I am in my head at times, I would never do the things you have thought about or CHANGE the course of another human being's life just cause I want to test something out, which is basically what you are saying. We have met twice in person and have spent about a total of a month together - and will be together again in July - but not before the filing. We talk all day on yahoo and have for 2 years now. I have pics, ticket receipts, itineraries, receipts all saved ( the 1st trip was a fluke to save as I just adored our time together - even have my dried flowers he gaveme at the airport ..lol ) BUT should I also include chat logs ? As I told Natalia in my country I do not usually dream in the usa, its more or less a dreamless, soundless, restless pause from the night to the morning period. But over there with her, feeling her next to me, I had dreams almost every night and they were so colorful and vivid I couldn't believe it. I feel like a machine just going through the motions without her here and I feel the separation anxiety immediately when I am leaving her at the airport (I even feel myself start to hyper-ventilate when I take that airplane from there to Frankfurt, Germany, its like someone is stretching my soul like a rubber band and all I want is to just turn that plane around) I have been waiting such a long time for her and now I hope everything will go smoothly now. To all of you I hope that you will all soon have your day in the sun, your partners, soulmates, best friends and lovers with you, and that all your wishes come to fulfillment and so I will just keep repeating that line "good things come to those who wait" in my case almost 3 years worth of patience. star_smile.gif This is so pretty - I wish you speed in your process along with everyone else here. It is very hard leaving your love one behind - I thought I was the same one when I board the plane to go back from the trips to visit - is like my soul is saying NO don't leave parts of me here and the trip home is always so lonely - the 1st time I was coming back on a visit - I wrote to him then the 2nd time I found I could not - was like not enough - I wanted more time to talk and dream w him in real time.
