IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Police clearance from India	QUOTE (ROZA @ Apr 24 2008, 03:26 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hello all, I was rushing to collect my all documents and especially police clearance certificate, as these are very difficult to get in india. The police department in india is corupt even after taking money that is their choice if they want to do it or not. any how, i collected my first police clearance from the local district police but as mention on nvc guidelines i went to my previous city to get another ceritificate, unfortunatly they refuse to give me clearance certificate as i am not living their anymore and i dont have any resident proof. Now i found on india's reciprocity schedule that police clearance from every city is not required,(Is this true.....?) http://travel.state....ocity_3582.html according to this link i just need police clearance from local police and from local passport office.
