K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	police checks	thanks for that, feel like I havent slept for a week. Spent today at the Thai Embassy in Sydney and they were brilliant! although they also were confused about the paperwork surrounding the Thai police check.  They did give me the online site of an agency that will do it for me but they require all paper work scanned and emailed. Thats fine but NSW Police will not release any fingerprints, they have to send them in hard copy directly to the agent.  So sending in two ways, the documents they want scanned, and the fingerprints sent from the Police.  NZ police check took about 2 days, still waiting on the Australian one though they have now said about 4 weeks. thanks for your help. Have the health check next week, that should be fun (!) then just waiting for these to documents. will keep you all posted.... almost there, just got to keep breathing...!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	police checks	Hi am in a bit of a panic here.  Have sent request and finger prints to AFP and they told me it could take 4 months to process!!! yikes... I would run out of time.  Can anyone give me some idea how long it really takes??  Also I lived in thailand for many years before being transfered to the US on an R2 visa.  Police checks would have been done at that time.  I have not returned to thailand at all and the Sydney consulated indicated i wouldn need an other police check.  but after numerous emails I cant seem to get them to confirm this is the case.  Please can anyone help calm my nerves???  thanks	Jannette	Female	Australia	2013-07-15 04:00:00

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NOA2 Approved from CSC	Was just laying in bed when I received a weird text. Was from USCIS saying there has been an update on my case. Jumped out of my bed and grabbed my laptop and went to the website and what did I see. My NOA2 has been issued. I am so happy and very surprised as well. I have been following what has been happening at the CSC and I really didn't think we will get approved until August. I am so happy and for all of you still waiting I hope you receive great news soon. Same here! We thought we'd get approved in August but we received the approval today (April 8)! Congratulations to you and your fiance! To those still waiting, hang in there! The approval might come when you least expect it. I am a January filer and tried to go back based on my number, but couldn´t really make sense of it. There were mostly (already approved, of course) DACA cases. My receipt number starts with 139. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Relax	I filed for K1 in June 2012... I knew, and I accepted the fact that it would be a long ride.... So I just waited... My fiancé' and I skyped several times a week, we sent text massages daily.. and we just waited... Of course I was upset at the 5 month mark.. we all are... but we just waited.. and we prepared our documents for the next step, and we spoke of our dreams for the future.... and in December we rec'd NOA2.... the prepared for our interview in Moscow in March.. and all went well..!!! So please, relax... it will all be done... prepare your documents, work on your relationships.... dreams to not come true overnight.. sometimes it takes 6 months, sometimes 12 months.... make your time productive... I painted bedrooms, cleaned the house, did some gardening.... and all will be fine... Your petition was approved in 169 days...We have been waiting for 198 days so far and there isn't any sign that we'll get approved in the near future. At 169 days I was angry but still had some hope..Now, i am angry, disappointed and have so many other feelings, all of them negative. There are people that have been waiting for more than 250 days. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Finally!!! A honest Answer from CSC!!	I am a Sept 4 filer. And I see three more on IGORS list approved yesterday after five from the previous day. ALL are from late November and Early December save one. This is no accident. I agree with you. It is a pattern now, considering that all the couples that got approved have almost the same NOA1 I wonder, what is gonna be the next "surprise" from CSC for us, the july, august, sept, oct filers?
