USCIS Service CentersCSC FILERS
I've seen a few of your last posts..CSC has slowed down on I-129f approvals..that is for sure..couples that were approved this summer in 3 months were lucky..unfortunately, we might get approved around 5 months(that is if we don't get a RFE). but it's still good, considering people have been approved in more than 6 months at VSC..I know it's hard, my fiance left from here on the 9th of november, and it feels like he's been away for 2 months. try not to think so much about this process, it can mess really good with your mind..
Hopefully CSC will speed up things around December or January

Sorry, my mistake..i wanted to say a nov and a oct filler, not a two nov fillers:)

USCIS Service Centersnov filers already approved
This is really annoying. This is the second november filler that gets approved without expediting. And probably the rest of us will get approved when we reach our 5 month limit. So unfair!!!

USCIS Service CentersCSC APPROVED DECMBER FILERS
they're approving as they want to. it's not the first approval within 1 month or 2 without expediting request. This is making waiting so much harder. 2 more months for me and my fiance can start calling them.

USCIS Service CentersUpdates on CSC

OMG OMG OMG!!!! USCIS just called my fiance for an RFE!!! yes, it's an RFE but that makes me very happy coz now i know that they are already working on our case. that's way better than waiting for over six months without anything from them. all she wants is for my fiance to fax her his G235a form coz he forgot to sign it. She said everything else looks ok. Im so happy. We are gonna have that NOA2 soon! thank God! :)

First of all, congrats!!! That is awesome!!!
Second, what do you mean, USCIS called your fiance for an RFE? They do that?

I'm not sure about checking on the "group" thing coz there's a note indicted in the login page...

"YOU HAVE CONNECTED TO A U.S. GOVERNMENT COMPUTER. IF YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO ACCESS THIS SYSTEM, DISCONNECT NOW. All attempts to access and use this system and/or its resources are subject to keystroke monitoring and recording. monalisa, if you are scared of that, you can actually check the status without logging in. What i did is, i wrote all the receipts numbers from my group on an excel sheet, and every once in a while i check them. true, it takes me at least 15 minutes :P

Mai, 186??? it must really be excruciating all this waiting. I'll keep my fingers crossed and say a pray for you :)

Hey! I learned about this from someone else on VJ. To elaborate on what cazzers said,

https://egov.uscis.g...is/Dashboard.do

If you already have an account, sign in. If not, sign up for one. Then, click on your receipt number and change the number by one going up or down. If this petition is the same kind as yours (K-1), then copy the receipt number, and go back to your portfolio. Click 'add a case to your portfolio'. Do this for all the cases you find until the next number you enter is a different type of petition. This is how I found my group. I hope that helps and that you receive you long awaited NOA2 soon!

Emily

thank you embord, i was too sleepy to elaborate more:P

Steve and Tintin, i checked through 700 receipt numbers, and i didnt stop when i saw a different type of petition, i kept going on...i only stoped when i saw that the first k1 petition from the next day. Indeed i saw some I130 petitions approved and a lot of Deffered Action petitions approved.

USCIS Service CentersTexas Service Center getting new K1's????
No, TSC is not approving I-129F. It means that The VJ members didnt update their timeline to the right Service Center. Only VSC and CSC are processing K1 petitions. In the past TSC was approving K1 petitions, but ever since they stop doing that, nobody updated it here on VJ.

All petitions are sent to the Texas lockbox, where they are rerouted accordingly. DO not do business with the lawyer who doesn't know that. Please read the instructions on the I-129F.

USCIS Service Centers5 Month Average Wait for K1 Visa at CSC No Longer??

Hello fellow Visa Journey members, just wanted to pass along some info I got today from USCIS. It seems that the 5 month average wait at CSC is no longer current. I was told today that they are currently working on July 18th 2012 applicants. Being that I am a September 14th petitioner, I was calling to see about a service request since my case will be approaching the 5 month mark in a few days. I was told that I had 2 more months to wait before my case becomes eligible for a service request. My question, If my case goes beyond that extra 2 month period, and still has not been approved, will they just add another 2 months to the average?? My petition is just a common K1 Visa that is totally legit..also, why have some been approved in August 2012 without an expedite?? Seems a little random to me. Any input to clarify would be much appreciated. Thank You.

Even though on their website it says for CSC 5,5 months, there are people that reached 7 months already and they havent got a response yet. Somehow, their average for both centers is 7,9 months, so i would go with that waiting time now. I know, it's not what we all want to see/hear :(

USCIS Service CentersCSC WORK PROGRESS

COULD you guys advise abt any RFE OR NOA2? I called USCIS an hr ago and was advise to call back in 60 days-- i was told bc they received many of the I129F... thats why they are soo far behind & can't say when it will pick up again.

that sounds like a big BS..i think they got sick of the calls that people are making questioning their cases and dont know what to say anymore to us..

Right there i see the old processing times..meaning 5,5 months for CSC and 7.9 for national Average..the bad part is that this nightmare doesnt seem to have an end. It only takes them 15 min to adjudecate a petition but they need now 10 months for that? :wow: :protest:

7.5 months? I'd have been happy if it was 7.5 months. I'm at 8.5 months now...

7.5 months is effective as of February 28th..by the time they update for April, it will show 8,5 or 9 months

USCIS Service CentersProcessing time changed again for CSC
This is getting really ridiculous..I mean, come on...they haven't updated those processing times from febr 5th till march 23rd and from march 23rd till april 3rd, they already updated 3 times?? they really must be getting fed up with all the calls and the inquiries. If i was sure that they would process the petition at 7,5 months i would have no problem..but i'm pretty sure by the time i get to those 7.5 months, they'll change again the processing times at least 2 or 3 times.. my fiance will be contacting his congresswoman this week, i really hope after we will have a positive answer.

USCIS Service CentersHow many supporters are here?
The petition would need to get 100.000 signatures in order to get an official response. If someone would start this petition, it would be the third one open for K1s and/or CR1/IR1. So far, the other two, didn't even got 120 signatures. It's worth a shot, in my opinion, but it needs at least 150 signatures(if i remember correctly) in order for the petition to become visible to everyone on the white house website, and if it gets visible there is a better shot of reaching the 100k signatures needed in one month.
This being said...who's gonna start the petition?:)

USCIS Service CentersGot through to Tier 2 ISO today at USCIS...

Waited 10 minutes for Tier 1...asked to be transferred to a Tier 2...then waited for another 45 minutes.

The second the ISO picked up the call, the first thing he said was, "I would like to inform you that during to high call volume, we will have to have an officer call you back in the next 48-72 hours."

My mouth just dropped.

1. Will this ever actually happen?

2. Do you think that perhaps the Tier 2s could communicate with Tier 1s, so that they don't put people on hold for close to an hour, only to be told that they can't talk to you once the Tier 2s pick up?

:wow: Amazing!!
1.I dont think someones gonna call you back
2.From my experience(i worked in a call center for almost 2 years), yes they talk to each other, before they transfer you to them...something like "hey X, I got this person for you that wants to know y"

He didn't even told you his name?

I have a friend whose K1 application is in TSC (october filers) and they are still waiting for noa2.

A friend from VisaJourney or a close friend of yours, cause according to their official report, TSC hasn't received a I-129f since March last year.

Plus, if they would've transferred the files to TSC we would have been notified. A while ago, I found a post here on VJ from a former adjudicator from NSC(when they used to process I-129f's) and he said very clear that everytime someone touched a file or move it to another room or where ever, they would put that info in the system, so they know exctly where it is.

July/August/September/October filers have been transferred to the Texas Service Center, that's why you are seeing the jump to November filers, hopefully those filers will start hearing something from Texas soon.

where did you get this info? honestly i find it hard to believe that they transferred I-129f's to TSC
