Do you know the timeline for DACA applicants? What if it is the same as yours and the reason for delay is bacause a lot of DACA applications came in while funds have been cut?? What if tghey wait the same time?? Are you serious??? I can give you sooo many examples of case numbers for DACA that have the same filling date as me and that have been approved in october, november, december. In a few days, we'll reach 200 days of waiting. And we were not prepared for this when we first filed. The only advice I can give you for now is, try to keep yourself busy with work or daily activities, this way the time will move a little faster. I know it's really bad news, but unless they start processing I-129f's on a daily basis again at CSC, that is the waiting time you are looking at. They have been stuck at the date of 18th July for the last 4 months. I received a RFE on DEC 13, 2012 i mailed it and they received it on dec.18,2012 but I have not got a reply saying they got my evidence. i have called uscis many times with no help or info from them... so my question is how do you get your congress person involved? thanks I just wrote a detailed letter to her office and I got an email from her attorney the next day. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Getting my representative involved	So I received my NOA1 on September 5, 2012. Fed up with waiting, I contacted my Congress woman's office. Her immigration person contacted USCIS on my behalf and was told the following: " Your constituent's case is currently under review by an Officer and can expect a response within 45 days". Sooooo, if they add another 45 days to the nearly 5 months I've already waited, it should give the rest of you an idea of what can be expected of the CSC. Sucks but what can I do but keep waiting? It will be 6 months of wait next month and some others waited almost 7 months -- am not seeing myself done by may as planned .. so hang in there and lets pray God to help us. It doesnt seem fair to us that VSC is approving all these people and CSC is completly dead. And for some reason people from VSC are still complaining that VSC is slow.... this so sad Couldn't agree more, has there been ANY approvals out of CSC lately? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	CSC July Filer Contacting Congressman	Well by now we are just kind of in a daze about all of this. And realizing more and more every day that Uncle Sam does what he wants, when he wants and doesn't do it if he doesn't want to. There's really not much we can do anymore, I keep trying, like filing another service request this past Friday. But if it's anything like the past one's I have filed, the only response I get is to wait, wait, wait and wait some more. Don't really get any solid info, just stuff like "waiting on a file" etc. It seems anything that is done takes months to accomplish. So I guess we have no alternative at this point. We could get married in the Phil, but then the process starts all over again and I really don't see the advantage of doing that. Very frustrating to say the least. My heart breaks for you guys - that is beyond awful! I contacted my congresswoman on January 24 and got my approval on February 21 - no idea if it helped any but it seems a very arbitrary system! I called NVC today to ask how to change the beneficiary address and I was told to email them once the NVC case number is available. The rep said if there is an email on file they will use it. The only email on the petition was mines. Does that mean they will email me packet 3? As soon as I knew that NVC had forwarded my case to Kingston, I emailed them the signed DS 230. I received confirmation today that they had received it and I plan on hounding the DOS for an interview date starting tomorrow. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	K-1 NOA 2 CSC	Found out NOA 2 Sent March 12. A few words based on my experience at this point and observations. 1. Processing times on USCIS or VisaJourney websites are overly optimistic. The effective implementation of the DREAM act last August is dragging things out by months. Look at the percentage of filings processed for July, August and September. They do not coincide with any estimate of processing times. When USCIS pulled my case for processing it took them 3 days to approve it. 2. If you are active duty military or even retired military (not just a veteran) be sure to let USCIS know that. With proof like a copy of your ID card. It does make a difference. 3. If you met someone on a website, don't worry about it too much. And yes, you should admit it on the petition.
