I had the same problem..i applied for my social secury number then after 6 weeks i didnt receive my number..so i went back to their office then they again told me i need to wait for 2 to 3 weeks because they had error in it..instead of K-1 they put in their system V-1 as my status..and V-1 is not allowed to have ssn until i applied for EAD..so we went to another state to get married...now i am on my 2nd week again..i dont know why we need to wait 2 to 3 weeks for them to retreive their system...

then wait to answer your question tomorrow. if you'r unfit, staff will talk to you and they will tell you about the problem but if they did'nt say anything about your medical then that means your passed or fit.

nvc emailed me to say MISSING DOCUMENTS and submit all the original document, so did sent may 2009
and now i got email again from nvc (INTRUCTION PACKET AGENT)do i have to resubmit again with the original document like..
POLICE CERT/BIRTHCERT/NBI CLEARANCE/DS-230 FORM/PHOTOGRAPHS... AGAIN....
but i guess they already have my original document..last may 2009..

*******my question is after you recieve the INSTRUCTION PACKET AGENT what did you do based on the date of ur processing papers that u wrote is u recieved the intruction packet agent that after u sent all the original of all document to the NVC, so thats why you called the NVC..

coz i got emailed frm NVC it was INSTRUCTION PACKET AGENT.. i click the aplicant document i was like start again from the biggining which i already submit all my ogirinal document after i got this email..(intruction packet agent) do u think do i have resend again all document like ds-230/thank you so much if u can share wth your experience

for your case i dnt think that you have to get a police clearance every place you lived in the philippines becoz NBI is good enough for you, unless u went in abraod and lived for over 6 mos..
my case since in here in abraod so i need NBI and police clearance here in hongkong.. that i think i got wrong form coz i applied police clreance with out notice from NVC but police officer in hongkong they just got the checklist . then police officer said they will forward my police cert in NVC.. so there's no need to call them or NVC.. gulo noh..

Another issue is that I called the NVC and operator confirmed that my case is completed but my wife needs to bring the original police certificate. I explained the operator that I have sent the originals with DS-230, but she said that those were not originals instead those were copies. I also checked my paperwork but I have copies with me which I did before sending originals. It seems that I may have to get new Police reports.

Can someone please tell me when they will ship the case to the embassy and also when will i get an email for the interview letter.

Another issue is that I called the NVC and operator confirmed that my case is completed but my wife needs to bring the original police certificate. I explained the operator that I have sent the originals with DS-230, but she said that those were not originals instead those were copies. I also checked my paperwork but I have copies with me which I did before sending originals. It seems that I may have to get new Police reports.

A friend of mine..she didn't provide a police clearance anymore.She only give the NBI.
She still got pink slip....

as far i as i know di mo na yata kelangan kumuha ng police clearance sa mga lugar na tinirhan mo NBI lang ang pinoprovided natin kasi ang NBI for the philippines.. another police clearance pag tumira ka sa abroad ng morethan 6 months.. gaya mo nagapplied ako ng NBI sa phil consulate d2 sa hk then pinaprocess ko sa friend ko un NBI ko sa manila.. then dahil nandito ako sa hk kumuha pa ako ng police clearance ko..
my case i think i got a wrong form for my police clearance here in hk its bcoz i dnt have letter from NVC yet..

good luck if you have own computer better put your email to your application and check it your email all the time easy to communacate to the NVC, NVC will send to your email for all information about your application..
my interview was great but my visa's pending coz i have to send CENOMAR that im waiting for.but once they receive my CENOMAR.
then my visa they will send to my home.. smile.gif

as far as i know.. police certificate is valid for 1 year. medical valid for 6 mos. this is from philippines and hongkong

Yes, I know for us, it seems like there is no problem.
But being related to someone who introduced your wife is somewhat an issue with the immigration officials.

Read your post..It sounds good to have a filipino community in Alabama.
My fiance lived in Bay Minette Alabama.Our petitioned was approved already and Im waiting for my medical and interview here in Hongkong.
Hope everything will go smooth and plan to leave on July 15,2009.
There's also several filipina's who lived in Bay Minette thats what my fiance told me.
Hope to meet you guyz soon..
