My friend was approved June 11 and got her case number on Friday. I was approved June 13 and got it today. I'm under the impression that they are sent as one big package (from reading other threads I think I've gathered that info) and it takes time for them to scan them in. I told my fiance on Friday after I called that it's probably THERE, just they haven't scanned it in yet. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	We got our NOA2 on the 19th of June so my fiancé tried phoning the NVC on Thursday (15 days after NOA2) but said that it wouldn't connect. Has anyone else had this problem? Can someone who has been successful please confrm the number that he has to phone? With thanks! X 603-334-0700 Keep trying! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	well I know this isn't immigration-related, but my fiance surprised me with this little darling yesterday (I think he is feeling bad that I've spent TWO 4th of Julys away from home, as well as various other holidays and I've kinda been bugging him about getting one...) so I'd thought I'd share her cuteness with you --- right now she isn't looking so CUTE to me though, I've been up all night with her whining! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	Just called as well and nothing...woman told me it's STILL too close.....even tho it's more than their "15 business days" now....ahhhhhh.....this is a nightmare. We went to FINALLY get his passport today ---that is a whole other nightmare story---and what happens?! We pay to get it TODAY and the machine where they make them breaks......so I get to spend another whole day and a lot more money to travel all the way back to the dang place with the hopes that it is actually ready by then.....plus, my local branch of my bank randomly closed last week w/o notifying anyone so I am stuck w/o access to my money. Seriously. What next?! I guess I get to focus on getting the "long form" birth certificate that they require here and finding a place where they can do a titer test since he has no vaccination records to speak of...I am so finished with this country!!!! I tried to call NVC today but I hate sitting on hold for 10+ minutes and seeing my credits drain, lol. I just keep emailing them and hoping that soon I'll get a positive response soon. My guy has absolutely loves it here which is good haha. What part of Chicago do you live in? I want to move there really badly (I'm from NWI so it's "part" of Chicago but not REALLY) but I'm worried about the prices of rent because they are significantly higher than NWI. He has no desire to step into that state, which is one reason I suggested Chicago. The other is because it's easy to get a direct flight there since it's a major hub. Yay Chicago! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January I-129F filers	I called yesterday at 9 days...and the lady was like "No, Maam, that file has not reached us yet. It can take up to 15 days for them to get here." Ugh. I just thought what the heck, it can't hurt....but nothing. The faster it gets there, the faster we can get our interview date from this slowwwwwwww embassy!!!!!! Hoping for a miracle with an interview in August......so wanted to move in early September!!! My man will die in the cold if we don't move until later---at least if we arrive in warm weather, he will gradually adjust when the chillier weather starts setting in! hahaha I was going to call today but I can't find my cell phone (lol, lost in our mess of luggage from Roatan) but anyway I'll probably wait until Friday to call NVC. I'm anxious and I don't want Tegus to take 2 months to even schedule his interview. I'm really hoping for an August interview as well! It just seems unreal to me! Maybe it's because I seriously thought we were going to get an RFE for a certified copy of my BC (I only sent in a copy from my home copier and only the front side, then after I read threads here, people were saying that you had to send in a certified copy so I was worried). But seriously... To those who are waiting still, I know it's frustating, but the NOA2 is coming. I was getting really annoyed and frustrated earlier this week, I had the form ready to email to my congressman's aid sitting on my desktop for June 20, I thought it would never ever come, and it popped up in my email when I was least expecting it. Ahhhhh...so all I can do is go and fax the release form so that when she does call, she will talk to me right away.... We are now past our VJ timeline that said Monday-Thursday of this week. I do want to cry. But I am here with my hunny at least, though he is stuck at work so much it is not really like I see him since we don't live together at the moment. Ugh. I just want to get us both out of this dangerous country so I can sleep more peacefully at night. I have barely slept since they tried to break into my building over a month ago. Then they killed someone along the highway as he was heading home from work this week...right in front of him just forced a car to stop and shot the people inside. I am soooo tired of this! Well, better get myself busy with this fax and other stuff so that I don't go totally crazy today! Hoping to see some CSC approvals when I get back on here this evening!!!!!! Can you move to a safer neighborhood? That's what we did and it really makes a big difference. Sooooo here we are, hoping that the VJ timeline saying this week will be it is true! We are in the EXACT SAME BOAT! Congrats L & T -- that's excellent news! Avg Days from NOA1 to NOA2 CSC : All Time AVG 112 days ; last 12 months 132 days ; Last 6 months 152 days and last 90 days 146 days on average to NOA2 VSC : All Time AVG 110 days ; last 12 months 133 days ; Last 6 months 135 days and last 90 days 139 days on average to NOA2 Sooooo...that mean nobody before Jan 10th should expect anything yet....in other words we are still on track...it is just frustrating to wait when we are so close. good times ahed of us...y'all see Yeah, it's frustrating! Hearing about approvals would make the start of the weekend really great! Right now, I'm desperately waiting for my clock to hit 3:00 so I can finally begin my weekend! It doesn't help that my AC at work is broken so I'm sitting here in my classroom, only working on curriculum but sweating at the same time!
