IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	CR1 or K1?	That is a very personal decision, that I believe many of Us has passed by. Talk to your girlfriend, what you both Will like. Remember that in a K-1, her family could not be presence in the wedding or at least not All of her family (if she is very closed to Her family, if she isn't, then no problem). CR1 is quite less expensive and if you Present good evidence and has no RFE (and have a little Luck by the way) it may be a straight shut. Obviously, For both routes, there are its conts and pros. And if occupation Matter, well I have read about cases in Which Beneficiary is chemical engineer or any Career dealing with the knowledge of com- Binig chemicals and stuff like that, and They were send to AP and where ask to send The resume and study of the beneficiary And proofs of studies and stuff like that. June 2010 I got married and on next week We are having our CR1 interview. Now that Time is really close, am starting to get In panic and so anxious and my mind is setting All possible questions that I may be ask(I believe Is normal right?). Could I get a denial because Of that?? Should that be a problem? My husband has visit me 11 times in two Years of relationship, we have tonds of Evidence, pics, mails, call etc. Should that be enought? As far as I know, our processes are not too different from each other. There are not to much people from honduras in VJ so it would be nice to share some stuff, paper work, timelines and all that. My husband and I did expedite our case due to his medical Conditions and in less than a month we had our NOA2. As many here advise you, pregnancy is not an extreme situation. I know you being alone and handeling all this process by Yourself + with a coming babe is not easy. Personally, I Do recommen you to try to expedite your case. What will you Loose? You don't pay any extra fee, just gather all your Documents frm your doctor, make a letter were you describe Your situation. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How to expedite a k1 visa after 6 months with no NOA 2?	You dont necessary need to wait the 6 months after your NOA1. Personally, my husband and I we expedite one month after we receive the NOA1. In less than two weeks we had our expedite approve and after a week later our NOA2 arrived. In other words, we had like a month and a half for our NOA2. You have less than 2 weeks to get all your documentation done. Hope you get a positive outcome. Just a little bit of more patience, because you are almost done with this journey. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Exam in Tegucigalpa	You MUST get the Police Certificate in the city that you live. I lived in San Pedro Sula, so my police certificate was from san pedro. If your fiancee is from la Ceiba, then you should go and ask in a post office of la ceiba how is the tramit. It takes around 1 or 2 weeks to give them out, so if your fiancee dont have it, tell her to go as soon as possible, because your time is running out. I guess that this Dr. Tome is the only one out of the 3 doctors mentioned in the honduras embassy web that gives the medical result the same day, I think that the others give the result the next day, dont remember, but just call to make sure. The 3 doctors are around the same price range. In making the appointment I called like 5 days earlier. Your interview is the 27th of this month right? Are you planning to go tegus two times? one for the medicals and the other for the interview??? or just make one trip and do all in one? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Medical Exam in Tegucigalpa	Hi Zami. I had my medicals exams made with Dr. Fernando Tome in Clinicas Medicas. Since I had all my documents of child vaccunes I spend 4000 lps. I guess if your fiancee do not have her vaccunes documentation from child you could spend much more! Just gave you that info so you get prepared. With this doctor I made the appointment a week earlier and I decided to choose this doctor because he gives the medical results the same day. I get there at 7 am and had my results at 3 pm the same day. I did this because I was staying in a hotel, and didn't want to pay a night more! The police certificate you most get it with time. Each certificate last 6 months. So, just tell your fiancee to make them as soon as possible. They are handed-in in around 1 or 2 weeks. If your fiancee have a friend working in a police department, makes the process much easier. Obviously got to pay extra, but it is worthy because you dont get to do line. The days you can do it, I really don't remember. Tell your fiancee to go to ask to the nearest post office. You can read my review if you want in order to get an idea what is the process inside the embassy. Since you are K1, provide tonds of evidence. You never know what the co officer may asked. Make sure you verify hundreds of times your documents like the partida de nacimiento en forma literal, divorce degree if applicable, police certificate, photos, all strong evidence of your relationship. I understand you sincerly, I was there, and I know this process is stressfull and you got to have tonds of patience because its not essy to be far away from your love. Hope I could help you......... Like for example a medical issue from the petitioner, civil war etc. If you dont, you just have to be patient and wait and wait and wait and wait..........! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	approved but confused!	It is not mandatory for the petitionary (you) to be there the day of the interview. In any US embassy the citizen can enter just by showing up their passport. But, being there gives your fiance more confidence and if by any chance the CO ask to make you some questions you may enter. In my personal case my husband was allowed to enter with me in the interview (and I felt so relief ).Obviosuly every case is different. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	So many questions RE Fiance Visa	My humble recommendations: 1) Get divorce, once divorce you can marry next day if you want 2) Take your time to know your fiancee for the best of your daughter and yourself and try to make as many trips as possible 2-3 at least to gather tonds of evidence, pictures, hotel reciepts, letters, mails, etc, etc 3) look for a job 4)get another sponsor At the end, you will do what you and your fiancee wants. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Original Documents for Embassy Interview	When you send papers to the USCIS/NVC they should be copies. Originals must be presented the day of the interview. Since you send originals before, I recommend you to have in hand originals documents, eventhough you spend more money, it is worthy! You wouldnt like to say to the Consular office that day, that you didn't brought them, because you thought they would have them. It is better to be save, than sorry! And with the spanish traductions the same. They don't demand to have translations, but it is a plus for the consular officer if he/she dont know a well spanish. When I had my interview, I did had may traductions spanish/english of my birth certificate and husband's divorce. It was a waste of money, because they didn't ask for those translations, just original documents. But as I said before, better save, than sorry!!! In the website they say that they are calling you, but I do call almost each two days to let me know how was my status. Remember that we are the interested ones, and we are not the only ones waiting so CALL!!! You posted this almost 3 weeks ago, so hope that by now you have a date for your interview. I did call like one week later I knew my case was there. They are going to send you an email appointment, which you have to print and give it to the guard the day of the interview. Since you are K1, I recommend you to be there, to give support to your husband in any case. Just imagine what if the CO says he/she wants to interview the petitioner? Most of the officers at the embassy understand spanish (at least the essencials) and they obviously have their own system to identify real to fake documentation. I think thats optional.
