We didn't get stuck at NVC, but thanks to those in this thread who gave me advice as to where to call for information. I hope those of you who are stuck at NVC have your cases sent to your embassies very soon.

I'm the beneficiary and I've been calling from the beginning.

You need to have your case number ready, both the petitioner and beneficiary's date of birth and they'll probably ask you to verify something (they keep asking me the same thing). Some of them ask who you are, some don't.

I'll call tomorrow.. just out of curiousity, what did they ask you to verify? I'm just asking because I'm bad on the phone and want to be prepared.. names aren't a problem but I always get my dates screwed up

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures

We had two letters from NVC, both identical. The first was recieved on the 12th, and the second on the 16th. Both of them said that our case would be forwarded onto the appropriate foreign embassy 'within a week'. Has anybody who got stuck in AP had this letter, or do you get it at the end of the processing?

Just want to know if we're 'safe' from being stuck at NVC yet.

Just to let you know, the NOA2 can take up to a week or more to arrive sometimes, and some people get the NOA2 in their mail without the email/USCIS web notification, so don't worry

Perscription medicines affecting medical?

I haven't been issued my NOA2 yet, but I wanted to ask in advance. One of my worries with my medical interview is suffering from panic disorder, which is treated with Diazepam/Valium. Does anybody else have experience with anxiety conditions or tranquilizer pills affecting their medical evaluation? If I had a note/perscription from my doctor at the time of the medical evaluation, would they still see it as a worry?

it goes to a PO box, thats the postcode I used to send mine and it arrived with no problems
