ok. smile.gif my fiance (my husband now) booked my flight and he prepared to booked directly to ATL so that i don't have to worry of the next flight... etc.

tips: when u go out the plane go directly to the immigration information desk and fall in line as fast as u can.
do not forget to bring ur I-94 form, it will be issued inside the plane.
it will take time before you will get cleared for ur next flight so better have extra time of waiting for the next flight than late.
the officers DON'T REALLY CARE IF YOU HAVE CONNECTING FLIGHTS OR WHAT...

we did the same too with my fiance (my husband now). he opened an account here in the US and send the card to the Phils. for me.

Keep the receipt of the western union and your fiance can ask a bank statement that shows how much money he send you to the Phils. and it will show the location of the bank which you withdraw the money in Phils. In short it will show that, the account/ATM was opened in the US, the money was deposited in the US and the money was withdrawed in the Philippines.

when you get your case number and call for an appoinment, they will give you a website to download the k1 packet, it is the list of requirements for interview and some instructions of what to do before the interview like med. exam etc.....

once u r approved visa will be printed soon, but we don't know if there is any technical problem in the embassy. or it depends in case to case basis. the others got their visa after 3 days of thier approval.

how did u know that it was already reviewed?

usually, they don't give any info f u r approved esp. f u talk to the representatives. they can tell u f u r aprroved f they already print the visa. i experienced delayed during my visa process. it took 2 months and 17 days after my interview before i received my visa. it was painful but that is the reality, i keep on waiting. we do follow-up calls, until they told us i am approved because my visa was printed but before that, they keep on telling us that they are not authorized to inform that i am aprroved until my visa was printed. after the confirmation, i received my visa less than a week.

as far as i know, fresh fruits, meats, plants, seeds is not allowed. but, it will also depend on the POE. there are some cases that the immigration officer will ask a lot of questions about the food you are bringing. the others are just fine. like me, i bring 2 luggages when i came here. one of my luggage was full of food.... just food. (polvoron, dried fish, hopia, chicharon, some crackers that my aunt like, i forgot what else) you dont have to pay for the tax wink.gif
