Anyone know if that means anything? I got touched the 26th and 27th following the call.. I wonder if some officers are slower than others.. hehe It could mean everything, or perhaps nothing, as far as the wait is concerned. The one thing we do know is CSC is working on a lot of October filers right now. Some people called, some people didn't call. In both scenarios, couples have been approved. Wifi in public places could mean the hallway--heh heh--but it's better than paying 900php for 1 hr (or something close) at most places in the neighborhood. This is great! But has anyone noticed the appearance that the late Aug and early and or mid Sept petitions have been skipped over? This system is crazy. It would be good if some reporter with credentials would do a story on this system and how it works. If the they (USCIS) would allow it? The " We process the petitions in the order we recieve them" is hogwash. And if you look this site can prove it. If they would be more transparent people would be more at ease. I go thru these lists and feel for some of the filers who are waiting for approval after 4 monthes while others are approved in 80 days. I dont feel all of the ones waiting are in Administrative Processing or whatever they call it. I think it is an unorganized mess. Now that you mention it, it may be true. I'm an early Sept. filer and I still haven't gotten my NOA2. I'm happy for those who have gotten approvals. I know the feeling of anxiety just waiting to hear something from the USCIS. The only thing is that I wasn't aware of what my parents were doing since I was still a child. I have been flying back and forth to Hawaii and Japan pretty much my whole life. Should I attach a separate paper stating all the dates and time periods of my stays? On the DS-156K form, I came across a few questions I wasn't sure of. #22 asks "When do you intend to arrive in the U.S.? Provide specific date if known." So what if I don't know the specific date? Can I just fill in an estimated date? Because I don't think you can leave it blank... #33 asks "Do you intend to study in the U.S.? If yes, give the name and complete address of the school." I plan on studying once everything is settled. So what should I fill in there if I am undecided of where I will be going to school? And finally, once you print it out, it counts as your final copy, am I right? If you want to go back and change your answers, will you be able to do so? Thank you. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC to U.S. Embassy.	Hello everyone. So we got our petition approved on April 16th. After 4 weeks of waiting, we didn't get any notice so my fiance called NVC to see what was up. It seems they sent out our case to the U.S. embassy in Japan on the 21st of April. They sent the notice to the wrong address, when my fiance called them to change our address months ago. Anywho, I still haven't gotten the Packet 3. In this case, am I to contact the embassy? They gave us a new case number, where do I go to track it? Its been a month already and I don't know whats taking so long. But i guess it depends on every case. What should I do? Thanks. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Overstay Issue	They erase the history of you overstays after a certain period of time. I don't know exactly how long that takes. It could cause problems to obtaining a visa but it doesn't hurt to try and keep going for it. Why people get their approvals faster than others? I don't know. Some cases, they have to research deeper. Then there are some people who are stupid and lazy to get their work done. I got my NOA2 after 7 months.
