K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Limbo Land.	Not sure how to answer this question, but two ways to answer... 1.) I am only getting an Associate's because I need to pay for K-1 and wedding when my fiance gets here. Putting school on a hold. I also got a full time management job to be able to make the I-134 requirements. I think if I hadn't met him, I would be at a 4 year college with a small part time job. 2.) I don't go out late at night with friends. I used to all the time, but I just don't now. I'm not as bad as I used to be, but I have in a way put my life on a hold. We got our NOA2 at the end of June and now here we are almost three months later and we do not even have an interview date yet. This is not bad at all and actually pretty good timing. Unless you expect like CSC in 60 days, sorry not in Vermont. He was having a hard time at home...that's why. And thank you everyone!! If they see someone who has a slightly convoluted case, it stays on the pile longer. I think in a way it made us much stronger and we were able to work out some issues that could have been problems in our marriage. So in that sense, it is good. We are "half-way" through our K-1 journey. At this point I don't think that waiting more is good. We are waiting for an interview date from the embassy. My fiance is living in horrible conditions. He is living away from his family who does not approve of this, and he is living in a slum out side of the captial, with almost no way of transportation and food that is making him sick. The place he is at doesn't have a place to wash clothes, no heated water, and the bathroom is outside. It's flooded in Thailand right now, so he is also in a flooded area. I have tried to get him to leave and move somewhere else, but he doesn't want to use my money anymore because I am a full time student and I work full time, so I need the money to save for our future. It was okay for waiting when his life was normal, but this is killing me having to watch my future husband live in those conditions. We are completely ready for the interview and we have been since Oct. 1, but the volume of cases in BKK is too large. We are hoping for the end of this year. I think it's always different, cause for me I called them everyday for three days until they told me what happen to my case, and the first two days they told me that my case would take 15 days, but on the third day they told me it left the NVC the day before Then for my friend Ray, his case took a whole month to go through the NVC. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Support needed- how to cope with waiting for NOA2???	The pain is knowing that you have to keep living as if it is normal while you are apart. Trying to hold a LDR with someone who wakes up when you go to bed is hard. Best thing to do is find an inner peace. I tried being distracted....heck, these last 7 months I should have not had time to worry/miss him! Full time student, full time job, part time job, AND I organized all of the petition and packet 3 and 4.
