K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	I predict before October 15 for you at latest I know you want to hear earlier, but that is based off of past Thailand Approvals on VJ. With that being said, any things that take more than a week or so (anything 3 weeks or more) I would get him to start wrapping up before Noa2. We are all told to wait until then, but through my experience it makes it a scramble after noa2 to get all requirements and could delay you some. Like say scheduling the Interview, etc... Once you get to October I see things starting to move really fast for you The average wait for Thailand k-1 is 120 days. Today is 116. I'm going to be mad if it's out of timeline range cause Ice is having a very hard time right now. >_< We are already ready for the interview, we did packet 3, gathered everything, did the medical, police clearance certificate. We are ready TO GO!!!! We just need permission to move on. This wait is killing me. It's draining my energy, straining our relationship, and making us annoyed at everything. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	I felt the same reading the threat. Its easy for someone to suggest that since they already went through the process. Like everyone know how frustrated this process is and a toll it can take on a relationship. maybe it was faster and too easy for them to suggest that it should be harder. Many couple would do anything like paying higher fees or fees to expedite if they could just to have their loved ones with them. Suggesting to make it harder is a bad call especially to those who are still waiting. I agree. Everyone here is already going to be sensitive, because most of us are pending cases, so we're away from our husbands/wives/fiance(e)s and some on this forum are away from their kids and parents too. So for him to suggest stuff like that..... And it's kind of insulting to see that a few people agree with him. I got more emotional reading everyone's responses because this process can feel so alone, and when you see how everyone else is dealing with it, it's easy to empathize with their feelings. Just as I knew they request evidence of us meeting in the last 2 years. So now the question is I got copies of my passport with visa stamp and also entry and exit stamp.also got copied of my boarding passes and also pics of our engagement party. Any other suggestions or anything else u guys think I can include. Thank u guys in advance for the help. I sure wasted money hiring a lawyer. It only delaying my paperwork. Wish I had found this site before I wasted money on the lawyer. Did you give them boarding passes and itinerary copies? Those are good. IDK if you need all of this, but this is the evidence that is in our petition: -passports -itineraries -boarding passes -his F-1 visa petition -proof that I went to the same school as him -skype records -cellphone records -proof that we rented an apartment together (contract and utility/rent bills) -receipts from when I visited him -mail receipts from stuff he sent me -letters from the International student advisor saying that she witnessed our relationship -letter from my mom -pictures with dates, names and places on them -facebook records That^ might be overkill, but I sectioned it off and made it very easy to follow, so hopefully it doesn't take them too long... I was reading someones status saying they just received an email that they was approved, I was thinking thats weird getting an email this late so I checked my email and nothing =( I thought what the hell I'll check USCIS website and was surprised to see we was approved. A few minutes later at 10:15pm I received the text and email. Congratulations to everyone approved and for those who are waiting, hold on it's coming. NOA1 was May 10th, 119 days later NOA2 approved on September 6th Our timeline estimate was September 5th to September 17th We was number 488 on Igor's list when we started, and approved at number 177 Berkeley list we were number 101 OMG It's like May is being bombarded with approvals!! Now..... @Ran4Jenny: I squeezed out info that they are working on our case right now. I know it's not really fair, but I tried to expedite our case because of Ice's situation at home. I got this email: "The status of this service request is: Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need. Moreover, your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter. If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283." To me, that means we're almost there... I want Sabrina and I to get approved this week. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	Hi May filers! Its been a while and I havent visited the site. I just did so I can update our timeline. Anyway I got approved today and my approval was creating a stir on some of the June filers. Here is our timeline. We never had any expedites, its pure luck. Those who see my previous posts actually know that my fiance and I are not expecting to get this done quick. I guess VSC is now working a little faster. We are May filers, for some reason VSC took time to open our case and sent us NOA1 in June so some might be thinking we are from June. So anyway don't lose hope. God is good! I-129F Sent : 2011-05-20 I-129F NOA1 : 2011-06-08 I-129F RFE(s) : RFE Reply(s) : I-129F NOA2 : 2011-09-01 YAY!! All I can say is WOW. Everyday I check all day every hour mainly. Today I was sad to see little to know approvals all day. Then at 10 I got text and email. Approved as of September 2! Normally in the last week and a half since May approvals started every text or email I suspect is NOA2, but this time I ws think facebook alert or Visa Journey interview review or junk mail. But nope its NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To all of you be patient and soon it will be here. I know its hard to wait, I did it. And its hard to see others with your noa1 date or close to it. But, soon its your turn. And by the way, I was 112 on the igor list at the time. And it took 112 days too. Got the NOA2 on Aug 24, expected NVC to recieve by today and maybe get lucky and have it past them in 1 week. But, the operator told me they go it and sent it out on Aug 30, so much faster than I expected. Hoping to hear something from the embassy soon. Did he bring his passport photos and vaccination record? He went to McCormick in Chiang Mai. Right at this second, he should be at the hospital again. I hope it turns out ok.....grrrrrrr Hmmmmm ok, maybe somebody has insight for me? I called NVC just now (suprised they're still open) and spoke to operator. Gave him all the info and he said the case has already been forwarded to the embassy. I asked him when and he said the 30th of August. So, i guess the letter i got i misunderstood? It says in 1 week the embassy should have our stuff and that was on August 31, so.... that means NVC got our papers and already forwarded to the embassy? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	We filed 5/19/2011 and are still waiting! Close to my date... Welcome to the May Filers! Yeah we're still waiting too. I wish Ice would see the discussions here because he is getting more depressed each day. There is only so much I can do. And something happened last night that we need some advice... Ice went to the hospital to ask some general information about the medical. We haven't gotten NOA2 yet, but we wanted to be prepared. They thought that he wanted to DO the medical, but he told them "Can I do it later when I get a case number?" and they said "when do you think your interview date will be?" He told them hopefully the end of Oct or beginning of November, and they told him that he should do it now because it is "rude to think that the doctor will just be available when you want him to be...he is very busy and you should just do it now!" So, he was pushed into doing to medical today and then at the end they told him to come back the next day with a case number. He repeated to them that he didn't have one. Now we're wondering if we just wasted our money. Do you think they can keep those results from the medical on file (hold) until we get a case number so we can finish the exam (vaccinations)? Or do you think we'll have to do it over again? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May 2011 Filers	Hello May filers. Its a labor day weekend so one less day for approvals. I'm really happy to see may filers getting approve. I'm happy for everyone that received noa2. Just little worry to see many approvals after my noa1 date getting approved and my file still stuck at someone's desk. I hope uscis employees have a good holiday and enjoy their time with their family and significant others so maybe they can realize the importance of family and come back to work Tuesday with a good state of mind and starts approving files fast. I know it might be asking a lot but its a wishfull thinking. Congratulations to everyone that is approved and good luck to the rest of us that are still waiting for noa2. We made it this far and are almost there. You'll probably be approved this next week. Jealous!!! And on another note... it's apparently been 4.5 months since I saw Ice....
