Canada	Canadian Passport renewal	Actually I am in a simular situation. I am going to Canada April 1st and I would like to renew my passport while I am there. The only thing is I am in the middle of removing my conditions ROC on my green card. I have a letter extending my green card for 1 year. Will this be an issue? But are you telling me that everyone that has filed in December Vermont service center don't have all there stuff of something like that. I was looking at January Vermont filers and they already have a few approved. Aren't they suppose to take them in the order they recieve them, so why aren't any of our December filers approved. The way I understand it (and of course I'm not a lawyer) is that everyone gets the bio apt to make sure you haven't committed any crimes of moral turpitude since you first got your p.r. status. China	Seatbelt Adjusting Silent Treatment :)	This made me laugh, as I'm the type who doesn't like to be rushed to put my seatbelt on. I like to sit and get comfortable for a few miles before putting my seatbelt on and in our mini van, the alarm would go off 4-5 times in those miles. I don't mind the alarm, but I think it's a bit obnoxious. It wasn't too hard to find the 'code' to turn it off on google. It was something like buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt 9 times within 30 seconds, and to turn it back on you do the same thing again. The little man still blinks but no alarm! It's funny how this varies every place you go. Here in PA, it's a law to wear your seatbelt but it's very rarely enforced unless pulled over for other offenses. But in England, we were once pulled over because the officer thought, I, the passenger, didn't have my seatbelt on. He wanted to give be a ticket. He was pretty embarrassed when he came to my door and noticed I had it on all along, he tried to lecture me like I wasn't wearing it right cause he didn't see it. Quite amusing in the end. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	how 2 kn0w if d approved petition is in the NVC already?	call the NVC..... 603-334-0700 or email NVCINQUIRY@state.gov .... emailing takes about a week for them to reply... calling is a lot easier and they're very nice and helpful... you just need your uscis number (EAC) and both your names and birthdays. And many fraud marriages got approved and the US spouse never sees it coming, they always go into it in love. Everyone always says that will never happen to me but honestly it happens more times then we know, and I'm not saying your marriage is fraud, you obviously love him very much to get this upset, but your husbands response to those questions is what put you in this position. Proof is on paper and anyone can smile for a picture and put a happy front forward. It's your husbands answers and reaction to each question that will go above and beyond the paper proof. And now its all just his word against the embassies word. This is nothing against you the US citizen, this is against your husband who is going outside his culture for what they want to prove is love not just the US. US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	I-134 Questions	Shocked isn't the word for it... I just got my NOA2 after only a month. We're really weren't ready for it so I'm freaking out a bit. I don't have an income and never did. so i am going to have to use my dad as a co-sponsor .. first off since I am an dependent of my father does he have to make more so he can show he can support the 3 of us? Also how long do we have to live with the co-sponsor? can we change me to the sponsor once I get a full time job that pays enough? I am just getting my life in order. I was love struck and spent all my time and parents money on being with my fiance so now since the petition was approved so fast it caught me off guard. I am soo scared of this process. I just need some advise to make the NOA2 be more of a happy time then a scary time... Once packet 3 came My fiance sent it back right away even tho I didn't have everything for him... but he already had his police certificate, and birth certificate. So I was putting together the Relationship Evidence and the Sponsor... Packet 3 includes a checklist, 4 forms you have to fill out and return right away, and forms about your medical. Once you have everything on the checklist you send that back and that is their cue to schedule you for an interview.. Once your petition gets to London the process speeds up quite a bit. (birth certificate, New police certificate, passport, I-134 plus the evidence, relationship evidence.... the only thing you send to the embassy is the forms they ask for. (DS-230....)
