Sheesh, it took a whole month just to receive the I-130 NOA1 so that I can apply for the I-129F.. It seems the average time to get the I-129F NOA1 is about 1 week after you submit it? In July and August, nearly 2.5 million applications and petitions of all types were received.. This compares to 1.2 million applications and petitions received in the same time period last year. Fiscal Year 2007 : (2 months receive 2.5 million) ==> 12 months receive 15 million Fiscal Year 2006 : (2 months receive 1.2 million) ==> 12 months receive 7.2 million from this table, http://www.travel.st...eportTableI.pdf, they only do about 6 million applications per year, yet they receive 22.2 million (15 million + 7.2 million) (2006 and 2007). 6 / 22.2 ==> 27% COMPLETED in 2006 and 2007 (am I right or wrong??) I get to keep my government job.. but after that, I can still come back, but only be put back on the list (for 2 years) and if I don't get picked up, I lose it.. I just want to be with her now.. it has been way too long.. we never got to celebrate anything together.. next month I'm finally going back to celebrate with her for my birthday =) yay.. I am so excited.. usually our Christmas was just two of us on webcam (like many others) and wearing the santa claus hats =( that's how we celebrate christmas and other holidays.. but I always try to make her laugh (even when she is crying and sad and misses me).. she would laugh in the middle of her tears.. .. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Happy 8 months	well, the person I talked with today actually "cared" for me.. yay.. she said she will look into our case, but since I have service requests created recently, she can't do anything for 60 days.. she said both my apps are under someone and that they have a "target date" of end of April (April 20 something) to finish the I-130 and I-129F... hopefully something will get done.. I got touches for my case on April 11 and April 13 on the USCIS website too.. a good start, but not enough.. I'm going to push more if the "touches" stop this week.. Like everyone else waited 6 months from April 2007... in-between these I made lots of calls and sent lots of faxes to senators, congressmen, vice president, president, FBI, FOIA, Ombudsman, and others... http://www.duluth.li...ct/Federal.html http://www.visaserve.....tact List.pdf These are some of the places I used.. October - someone said I had security checks.. so I sent letter to president in November, with a transfer letter to Dept of Justice, then a transfer letter to "Chief of Names / Records Division" from FBI.. I received letter in March stating I had NO SECURITY CHECKS on my case.. so I don't know what they are doing.. I have proof that it is not SECURITY CHECK RELATED OR BACKLOG RELATED (now that they are done with September, so it is after the backlog supposedly).. November 27, 2007 - transfer apps to local office, I was like #######? December 26, 2007 - went in Infopass to check , they said case no longer there, but at NBC (National Benefits Center) but will be requested to sent back February 21 , 2008 - received letter to go in for local office interview.. brought my parents too.. they said that China has too many fake marriages, so they just wanted to be sure.. barely sat down and the guy said "everything looks fine because you brought your parents - you will receive approval notice within 10 days".. yeah right.. sometime in March - kept calling and faxing.. and creating different service requests.. but finally made a "expedite" request and was granted.. April - kept calling and some people were rude and we argued over the phone.. they told me to wait another 6 months.. I said "so what happens after 6 months??".. then they start giving me a bad attitude.. they said I have a "target date" of April 24 for my I-129F, and "mid-May" target date for I-130.. I have been waiting 1 year now for a decision.. I am as mad as hell too.. at least give me a decision so I can continue with my life (either here if it is good, or back in China with her if it is bad).. the last CSC person I called said I had a "target date" of April 24.. so hopefully something will be done by that time.. have any of you gotten any "target dates" ?? K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Got touched again 2 times in 2 days	whenever they are working on your case, or you called in (that generates a "touch" too), both generate a touch.. but in the past few months they haven't been updating their website of all the "touches" either.. when there is a "major" change (when the inside description changes), then you receive an email.. the "little updates" (them moving around your paper and you calling) will generate a touch and "last updated" change on the website, but won't have any other effect..	gogo	Male	China	2008-04-14 11:14:00

I'm not afraid of them and you shouldn't be either.. I may be moving back to China at the end of the year, but doesn't mean I'm quitting.. I'm just going back to be with her.. until we can BOTH come over.. USCIS didn't win.. I just miss my baby.. and I will fight until my last breath to get her over here.. bring it on, USCIS! VJ people have been most helpful (even including the ones that I had disagreements with).. they have provided WAY MORE information than any USCIS worker ever could.. also, here's a tip I received from a local office person... next time you call USCIS 1-800, tell them you want to speak with a "officer" instead.. the local office person told me that the first person you talk to don't know jack.. they know what you know based off the website.. nothing more.. after getting to an "officer", then they will know what you are talking about..	gogo	Male	China	2008-03-10 16:40:00
