K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot In-Line Approvals??
good luck kalina!! good.gif I hope that you get to NVC as soon as possible.. I see that after you get to NVC (and out of USCIS), everything goes much smoother... usually about 1 month to the interview time?? that would be awesome to have for you... you applied in February, so October (end of October) will be nice to have... so a total of 8 months time... I was thinking of everything to be done within 8 months for me too.. guess we will see.. I put an estimate of "April 2008" (1 year) for me, but hopefully it won't come to that... whistling.gif

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot In-Line Approvals??
that's true, pkewl, but that approval in May was done in the Phillippines... that country is "hot" in the fraud dept, don't you think? A lot of those asian countries (including mine, China) have high fraud rate.. so that doesn't make it fair... I see what you are saying about the "RECIEVED DATE" and "NOA1 Date"... I think there were two dates on the NOA1.. NOTICE DATE / RECEIVED DATE.. the guy told me that my date was 4/16.. even though online it said 4/27... it's one or the other, haha.. but I'll get mad if it was 5/29...

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot In-Line Approvals??
ah , sorry about that.. they were filed "after" mine...

http://www.visajourn...showtopic=88125

05-11-07 Mailed I-130 to TSC
05-12-07 USPS confirm delivery in TSC
06-05-07 CSC receives I-130 from TSC
06-08-07 Check is Cashed
06-11-07 NOA1 Received from CSC
09-14-07 TOUCH...after 100 days! I-130 APPOVED
09-17-07 Touch once again...

compare that to mine...

100 days and get approved... hmmmm...

http://www.visajourn...le.php?id=37592

I-130 Sent : 2007-04-24
I-130 NOA1 : 2007-05-30
I-130 Approved : 2007-09-14

that is after mine too... mad.gif ... I can't get angry at this one though because it is around my time... but that May one shouldn't have got approved so soon.. it was sent to CSC on 6/11, while mine was already at CSC from 4/16...

yes.. he told me it was based on the "Received Date" and not the NOA1... good, because my NOA1 date was 5/29 (sent to mailbox)... and my received date is 4/16... that's a big difference...

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot In-Line Approvals??
just like I predicted... I called them just now and they verified both my I-130 and I-129F numbers and said both were "pending" and was within their "priority dates" processing time... that's a bunch of BS... crying.gif crying.gif I even told them I didn't get a NOTICE DATE or RECEIVED DATE on my I-130.. and asked him if the timeline was based on the NOA1 date, because I got mine on 5/29, even though I applied the I-130 on 4/13... he said "No, not for the NOA1 date... my date would be 4/16"... the day they actually receive the application..

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot In-Line Approvals??
that's true... but both his I-129F and I-130 were "filed" before me... in any case, the USCIS isn't processing the applications in order like they said.. crying.gif crying.gif

Elbereth, did you get to see your case number at least? It is usually a stamp on the back of the check.. You can request a copy of the check from your bank good.gif It usually has EAC, WAC, or (not sure of the 3rd one)... this allows you to create an account online at USCIS.gov and track it (or email too to you if something comes up... like approval or any changes to your case)..

good luck to MelissaHassan, nksj, and BYRON-LEIDY biggrin.gif hopefully our approvals will come soon enough.. I probably know what they are going to say... I haven't reach the 180 day mark yet.. it is based on my I-130 NOA1.. but you know what happened?? I got the I-130 NOA1 on May 29 (1+ month later) and it didn't have a RECEIVED DATE or NOTICED DATE... I'm going to grill them so bad it hurts...

yes.. thanks everyone for their kind words good.gif This is a good place to finally let off some steam... but I'm going to call them today and complain about those approvals that were ahead of us.. or at least complain about mine too.. like I said in other posts before.. they are doing even the temporary workers as well as the K1 people first.. because their "evidence" is a lot faster to sift through.. so it earns them more "revenue" per person compared to K3.. that is totally unfair to us.. we are US Citizens and should be higher (not top, but at least higher) priority... at least they should devote the same timeframe to each kind of application (but that probably goes back to my point about "revenue" --- they can approve 100 K1s in the time to approve 10 K3s... ) crying.gif crying.gif

K-3 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresNot In-Line Approvals??
yes, but the USCIS website says that they are processing them as they receive them.. so it should be in order.. or at least not someone approved who just applied in August... I'll give the "May" person credit... he/she got lucky... but come on... August!!! only 1 month to approval time... no way mad.gif mad.gif Actually, this whole board is about that complaining stuff... a lot of people ask questions, but mainly it's just to vent your anger for others to listen to...

Yes, Elbereth, you just applied, so you might not know the frustration yet... when you get to 157+ days (for some even 180 days or more) without an approval... then you might wonder what is up with them.. that is 5+ months without any touches... I didn't even get a touch for calling in one time last month.. with another 5+ months to interview time (as the way it goes)... my little birdie calendar of 1 year's time won't even hold up for me.... crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

(August 2 for K3 I-129F... and got approved September... what the hell??)

how come people are being approved that are further ahead of me? I don't understand... congratulations to them good.gif , nonetheless, but that is NOT FAIR... just because I applied during April when they F**** up their system, it means we have to wait for longer times than normal?? This is stupid mad.gif mad.gif this is beyond stupid... at least with being stupid you actually try to do something... they probably can't even organize their sock drawer, those lazy bunch of @#(#@($*... devil.gif devil.gif devil.gif devil.gif... headbonk.gif headbonk.gif headbonk.gif

Congratulations to everyone!!  I am a 'April' (or May, since USCIS delayed me) filer.. hopefully I will get approved soon =( I even see some people from VSC who applied in May and already have interview date set up... life is unfair :crying: :crying: :crying: why doesn't VSC help out CSC? it took 2 weeks just to enter my stuff into the system.. oh gosh... 4/13 --> 4/27... even though they received it (I got the USPS green card delivery confirmation) on 4/16.. then they had to delay my I-130 NOA1 by a month; (well, that is everyone at that time, so I can't complain).. then the NOA1 for the I-130 didn't have a NOTICE DATE or RECEIVED DATE (empty fields, anyone else have this??)

not trying to be bad... but it isn't 180 day mark for her... it doesn't count from the day you send it in... it counts from the NOA1 (and maybe even later).. kalina's I-130 NOA1 date is 2/24/07 (+6 months) = 8/24... about 2 more weeks, then you can yell and bug them everyday... haha... but good luck on everyone's journey!!! I hope that we all get approved soon and get reunited with our loved ones... I already lost a month between the I-130 NOA1 and I-129F NOA1..

The bolded dates are the online USCIS dates.. "We received your application on XX/XX/XXXX......"the 5/29 date is when I received the I-130 NOA1 at home (hard copy) with NO NOTICE DATE and NO RECEIVED DATE... my 129F NOA1 showed both... but the I-130 showed nothing... so all I have based on is online... meaning they received the I-130 on 4/27, and received the I-129F on 6/11 (now online has no date anymore for I-129F because it was transferred and received by CSC).. everything is a delay with them.. I was against the RFE trick, but I don't know whether or not I should use it starting next month.. Hopefully my approval dates will be in September..

I used to be near you zolanden, but as you can see from my profile (sent I-130 on 4/13, received NOA1 on 5/29)... sheesh, it takes over a month just to give NOA1... I can handwrite it faster than that... =( so I had to send my 129F in on 6/4 (received NOA1 for I-129F on 6/11) ... so I got slowed down a lot... lost a lot of time....... boooooooooooo :crying: :crying: :crying:
