What happened really did a tremendous change in the world today. Physically, the 8.9 intensity earthquake moved some part of Japan 9 feet which made it change the geographical map, it made the earth moved in axis a bit causing it to revolve a little bit faster. Now sitting here in front of my computer..still cant believe it. must be halfway through but still a lot challenges to come.. waiting now for my case number coming from NVC. I wish us all the luck. It is nice to know that this group has turned out to be perfectly a support group for everyone for i rarely go out. Just stay home talk to hubby on skype almost 24/7.. and your story amaze me too. I would literally go crazy without talking to him in 5 straight hours. Today is so sad for me, actually several days now. Hubby needs to fly from Hawaii going to his hometown, CA. He'll be there for a week, until Saturday. His dad has been calling him telling him he is sick and that his step mom is in the ICU (he thinks she is terminal). We plan to have our small wedding in CA when we get the visa already so that his dad and my dad can attend and some families too but the other day he told me, neither his dad or nor step mom will be able to attend our wedding..so sad right now.. i dont know what is going on. He is there now with them in the hospital and told me his step mom looks bad.. i dont know what is happening..and anxious what will happen next..hoping everyone will be alright. We almost spend 24/7 through ways of technology. He would wake up 3am and i would stay up late so we can talk before him going to work and me going to bed..we keep it on while sleeping. we also have skype on our iphones. On weekends, we do stuffs together through Skype. Now he is in CA, we have 18 hours difference. Its really a test for all the couples being apart. And we wished for an hour difference like with you and your other half. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Physical exam at St. Lukes, Manila Philippines	I am sorry to hear about your wife's medical result. She has to know what type she was diagnosed for. I believe there are may types of this disease but there are 2 classification very known. 1) TB active disease - you have the germs and its growing. 2) LATENT TB - you have the germs but its inactive, asymptomatic and can not be spread to people. MY daughter got her TB skin test positive with 11 mm size. Bad thing way in that clinic, they never told us of what she has. Kids dont undergo x-ray just the skin test. Since they found she got positive, they ask us for an xray to verify but still no words from them. They made us come back for like 3-4 times that week. Because of being blind of whats really happening, i did some readings and i think the one my daughter has is the latent because they still let us fly. With regards to the terms of medications, some says it depends on how your body react, some got treated for like 2 weeks or 2 months instead of 6 months having the active one. Some research says that Filipinos are usually get a positive TB Skin test because of the vaccine BCG, it is the short name for the "bacilli calmette-guerin" vaccine which is given to try to prevent TB disease. My man, a naturalized USC, is the military member. There had been no orders for war zone deployment, thank goodness, but they have been doing a lot of these pre-deployment trainings, which prompted me to start the thread. Fiance told me that the upcoming exercises in March and May are trainings; I got concerned because articles from the net stated as "deployment in US grounds" and had gained criticism. We do not know how strict the higher ups will be during these "exercises", and I felt some hope with the links that YuandDan and TwoCats provided, that his situation may fall under humanitarian reasons. Of course, fiance still needs to discuss this with his superiors. We can only hope someone in authority will help us by writing a recommendation. I would really want to be near my soldier, whether these exercises are for deployment in the near future or not. I'd like him to be comfortable and relaxed when he gets home from work, in a totally different environment...living in barracks gives him few comforts and luxuries and adds stress. i am sure that as a combat veteran, you understand where i am coming from. We have also been in a committal relationship for almost 9 years, half of that is overseas. We both feel that there is no best time but now. Again, thank you for the reply and more power. HOAH! And his step mom is in the ICU receiving blood transfers almost daily (we dont know why, but we are thinking, its complications) can this be considered as one of the expedite criteria? He took his emergency leave for a week (Feb 26-Mar5, flew all the way from Hawaii to CA because of this and because his dad send him sms through the red cross. He is in the military, we are thinking to call them and tell them about this. but before doing so, we're not sure if this is an enough reason to be expedited. Help please. Why? because there are instances that documents are being lost, sent to different places. My hubby, which is the petitioner went to this process for me. Dont this by alone. let her help you, this will familiarize her to the things that she needs to along the way. Not all of the beneficiaries are allowed to have their fiance with them in the interview, depends on the country i think or to the Consul. good luck to you and to us.. Have u scheduled for the seminar yet, or will u wait til you have the visa before u schedule it? a persistence is needed until you finally have your schedule. and yes, you need to wait for your case to be in USEM's system. You can have your CFO-PDOS seminar when you have your visa already so you dont have to come back for the CFO sticker.
