when he apply for the Citizenship, so he just have a copy (photocopy) can i show this paper like a proof in the interview? in my packet instructions say, bring a certificate copy of any divorces so can my fiance notarized
this copy? or whats is mean "certificate copy". we dont have to much time for get another one, the interview date is really close.

If they only want to see 2008, then you will not have any issues, however,

when you file the I-864, and if they request three years, then you would have some explaining why you didn't follow the instructions as noted below.

So, in your best interests, you probably would want to do whatever you need to do, just in case it is needed. After the fact is not a good place to be.

(BTW - the handbook for the embassies reference the I-864, not the I-134 for guidance.)

If it were me - and I wasn't required to submit more than the previous year's tax return (2008) - some Embassies/Consulates may (most do not though), then I'd not write any such letter (nor submit as evidence 2007's return).



this is the real problem they ask (embassy) for 2007 and 2008, i wish not show 2007 too, but i think i can do that crying.gif crying.gif so letter go or not in our case?

taxes 2007 bad really bad (He work overseas for 4 months, and dont put this money in his taxes)taxes 2008 very over over 125%

Yes, my fiance send the letters the last week, one for each Senator (Burris & Durbin) , and one for his congressman, so we just wait for a response, and ill be very very happy to see a touch or anything in mi case too, but am afraid to hear that we are finally in a background check, my SO has become a USC the last year, so the USCIS check his entire life a few months ago, so what is the problem, and about me, i dont have police records, i never entry to the USA, we send a plenty evidence of our relationship, we have a two years old son, so why they put our file under all the petitions????? i dont get it crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif , but you know what, am sure you have your NOA2 before me....

Service request is a stupid thing and I would advice everybody against it. It's a way for them to sit back and postpone your case for a later date.
We phoned again, trying to find out if we are in security checks or not, and the guy on the phone kept telling us to wait for the 3 months mentioned in the service request reply and he didn't understand why my fiance got nervous. The service request is the last information for our case and we have to wait for 3 months-right.
At least my fiance is nervous now and he finally decided to write to the senator. Fingers crossed!
