You can pay for it anytime at any Metrobank branch in Phil. it costs P650. read sheriff Uling's pinned post for the newbies under Philippines forum. all the link you need is under his signatire. However you have to wait for tne MNL number and letter before you text your payment information to the Delbros. But it will be good to pay for it earlier so when you have the letter you can imediately inform Delbros.

no need to show metrobank anything aside from the deposit slip u will fill up. The link i told u has the pdf file for Delbros' instruction. /and wait for the letter before sending delbros an sms, coz ur letter is the signal that ur file is with the embassy and they have sent a request for your DV to delbros. remember always ask for a date from delbros as to when they have sent your paper to NSO.

it's not a big deal. in case they asked you for the date of your stillbirth at the releasing section tell them the date you told the physician (2006). They usually ask a question at the releasing section on your second day just to verify that you are the real applicant.

You should read posts under Philippines, it will help you a lot.

Document Verification (DV) is very crucial for visa issuance here in the Philippines. It takes 3wks and up (6 weeks max or more) before the result is sent to USEmbassy from National Statictics Office(NSO). It is very advisable to have the interview set 5 weeks after his DV is received by the NSO this will give ample time for it to be processed. In doing so when you guys go for interview and you are approved, and luckily his DV are already at the embassy, he can receive his visa as early as 2 days after. You can fly back with him. In short make sure to pay for the DV more than a month before his interview for higher chance of success with early visa arrival.

In Philippines forum read the visa guide posted by Sheriff Uling, all links you need are under his signature. If you have inquiries after your reading just make a post there.

The letter may help. having it during interview wouldn't hurt. I am just not sure if they will consider the letter? Manila Embassy is More concerned of your fiance's STRONG ties to the Philippines. If he can prove that, he may be lucky enough to have the visa. They are very strict here in the Philippines.

The embassy says: we recommend that you re-apply only if
(1) you have additional information not presented at the interview that supports a claim of non-immigrant status or
(2) your economic or family situation has significantly changed, or
(3) your purpose of travel to the US has changed.

The other concern I have is the embassy has a file of your fiance's K1 petition, they will still consider this during his interview. US Consular Officers must ASSUME that each applicant is an INTENDING IMMIGRANT to the United States. He better bring Solid ground proof that he won't be.(contracts, employment certificate, land titles,back accounts, credit card etc.)

He can always try his luck at the embassy. Hope he will get a nice CO. smile.gif

yes, you always have to give correct information during your medical or embassy interview. Be truthful all the time. For sure by the time you have your medical exam the physician can tell you are pregnant even without you telling them.

no in the sense you will not encounter any problems throughout your medical exam. They will put an abdominal shield around you to protect your baby from the X-ray (radiation). You will not be given any live vaccines while pregnant (varicella/MMR). Since you are K1 visa you have the option to refuse the vaccines and waive for it.

with your visa process, present a letter from your fiance that he is aware you are pregnant and he is claiming the baby as his own.

for more detailed information call the embassy.

Second Preference or F2: Spouses and minor children (below 21) of lawful permanent residents (LPR) apply for F2A visas while the adult, unmarried sons/daughters of LPRs apply for F2B visas.

Godismystrength, they usually do NOT advise applicants to buy the ticket not unless you have the visa. Just a precautionary measure for us. We don't know when the visa will arrive. If you buy a ticket now and you are due to fly soon but no visa yet, you will end up paying again for rebooking. So better be safe than sorry. smile.gif

when was your interview?

our medical expires one year after, the one who called you was just reminding you to send the requirement before the expiration (one year after the medical) that will be July 25, 2009.
