Sealed envelope for POE need help!!!!!!!

wow,i did not even look at mine..I just placed it at a nice place till my final day of departing..I am loving it here in NC and moreover,God is so much wonderful because in Ghana,before it will be 6;00pm,the sun totally set but here in Greensboro NC,when its 8:00pm,the sun is still up.wow and also when i arrived at JFK and i was inside the terminal,i never knew that,it was that so much cold outside and when i got outside ,i nearly rushed back inside the terminal as it was soooo much cold..I have to wait for some mins for my brothers to pick me up because my fiancee was preparing the home for me .There was one airport security female that assisted me by giving to me her cell phone to call my brother when i got to the outside of the terminal where my brother suppose to be to picked me up as i was delayed inside due to alot of people arrival.I will advice everyone who will be going to the states for the first time not to come during weekend especially when their POE is JFK because JFK is always busy and if u are on trasit,u may missed ur flight to ur final destination..I spent over 3 hours in the queue waiting to be checked out and another thing is that,The airline which i board(Royal Air Maroc) did not give me the form I-94 in the airplane as suggested but gave me another form which also delayed me as i have to be given the form I-94 to be filled at the airport..Another experience was that,after my brothers picked me from the airport,we went to my elderly brother's house whom is living in Bronx for them to welcome me to America and after spending some hours with him and his wife,my second brother and his wife starts our journey from Bronx NYC to Greensboro NC.It took us even more that from Ghana to New York to get to North Carolina because my brother and his wife drove me by road and it took us 12 hours to get to Greensboro,NC.I love it here and i am using to the atmosphere and their culure..That is my side of the stories to my lovely other african..Air Maroc is very cheap but their final destination is JFK and its also departs in Accra early around 5:55am and their check-in starts 01:00AM till 03:30AM.Thank u and i wish all of u the best.And that remains me..Those of u who will be travelling with Royal Air Maroc have to be very alert because when u rich Cassablanca,they did not speak English and u have to ask other passengers to show u where is JFK passengers are.It will be at the same gate 20-21.Thanks

Do not wait on the consulate, they should send packet 3 to your fiancé or you depending on the consulate. Right now your 129f petition should be on its way to the NVC who will then send it to the appropriate consulate. You can call the NVC to get your case number once they receive, and you can also call them to check to see if they have forwarded it to the consulate. YOU should mail your fiancé the affadavit of support along with a copy of your original 129f package. Do that ASAP as mail usually takes a bit longer. You and your fiancé can practice using the forms that will be given in packet 3 if you want to get a head start, otherwise sent off taperwork you have and the I-34 and the NVC and consulate will take care of getting your paperwork ready that will be needed before the interview. good luck! Hey thanks man. I am sending her the AoS tomorrow then. Do you know about when they get the case at NVC? I called on Monday and they said 15-30 business days, but it sounded like a very standard answer they normally feed to people. Is it realistic to have it this week? Thanks for your great reply? It really helped

Does your fiance(e) already have all his/her docs? long form birth cert, police cert etc?

She got her police background check but it said on the report it is only good for one month. Also she does have her birth cert and it's translated. She is also getting her vaccination report very soon.

So I finally received my NOA2 on May 16 after 9 grueling months. Yay! But now what do I do? Just wait for the consulate to mail me about the Affidavit of Support? I already have the AoS packet ready to go. I wish I could just send it. Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks!

Yes, I notarized and sent her the docs already. It's just they are booking interview dates 3 months out and she's had the docs for a month already so it'll be 4 months. I will try to find the embasssy contact info and ask them...It would be really sucky if I had to send again

Hi, I have a question. My fieance's interview date is on Sept 11 (go figure), but I already sent her my signed and notarized Affidavit of Support a few weeks ago to bring to her interview with her. I can send her updated pay stubs, but does the affidavit not apply if it is a few months old. It is nearly impossible mailing stuff back and forth with my fiance so I had to give it to someone to bring with her.

Change of address

Hello all,

I have been waiting for NVC to receive my petition from USCIS since December 17th. I did a change of address on December 3rd by calling USCIS and after receiving my approval notice, when I check the status of my case online, it is back on INITIAL REVIEW and reads:

"On December 24, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

Should I call USCIS to make sure they sent my case file on December 17th? Is it normal for the status to be back on INITIAL REVIEW instead of POST DECISION ACTIVITY?

I am currently unemployed, on question 5 of part 6 of the I 864 form "my current individual income" should I put my income BEFORE i quit my job or just $0.00 ?

Also, i will have a joint sponsor (obviously) do I still need to file the I 864 just because I am the petitioner or does only the joint sponsor's suffice ?

Le salaire annuel qu'il faut avoir pour que le "affidavit of support" soit accepte depend sur le nombre le personne sous votre toit.

Par example, si il y a 3 personnes il faut gagner $24,737 par an.
