K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 K1 filers	the thing is I haven't seen too many approvals this week by Vermont....usually there were a bunch of approvals every Monday and now we are down to like 2 or 3 which worries me. we all feel bad for the CSC filers but no matter where your petition ended up, after 6 months of waiting we all have every right to be upset and impatient. I hope Vermont won't slow down now that we are so close to getting our NOA2. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	October 2012 K1 filers	I think the thing is when the processing time says '5 months' you can't put the service request in till after 6 months, if you see what I mean.. You can't file the service request until after the 5 month window. In the meantime, lets all just CELEBRATE anyway, because at least we're not stuck in the horrific traffic jam that is CSC.. Lets count our lucky stars! so in my case I can't put it in until the 7 month mark, that's 32 days from today. that has nothing to do with the 5 months processing time though. insane. good luck to you though!	annerobin12	Female	Germany	2013-04-02 18:58:00

Case status in uscis.gov gives us the same message (Alien number has been changed). Is this a sign that our case is in the process of being adjugated right now? Or is this normal? Does everyone who apply have their Alien numbers changed at some point in the application. Thanks in advance. Some say it's a sign that they are working on your case and that you'll be approved soon, some say it's an error in their system, some say it's a normal step in the process.....who knows. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Confusion about form 156 K	I don't think you NEED the receipt of your engagement ring or pictures of it. if you have all that stuff, send it in. But I believe the term actually refers to evidence to prove that you are still a couple, you still want to get married and have stayed in touch since filing your petition. What you first sent in with your I-129F was just proof that you have actually met in person sometime within the last 2 years. Now they want you to prove that nothing has changed since filing So send in more pictures, receipts, boarding passes etc. People, correct me if I'm wrong!
