Philippines	K1 under administrative review	Hello guys please help me am fiance visa wating for my passport to deliver...until now i didnt received any news from USEM regarding my visa application...i passed my interview last december 9,2009 ..the required addtional documents they asking for me such as CENOMAR for a.k.a and NBI a.k.a also...that documents was forwaded already in the USEM last 2 weeks ago...i really dont know and i dont have any idea until when i gonna wait for my passport... Thank you and more power.. Hello there! I have a friend who had same case similar to yours....she had her interview Dec15 and was asked for AKA with her NBI. She already submitted the additional documents the next day until now she had not received the visa so I advise her to call USEM 02-3012000 press 7 then dial 5184# or 5185#. They told her that her case were reviewed Jan04-2010 and visa is ready for printing and it will take 7-10days to be delivered.At least you will have a clue if you will try to check with them.You can also track your visa at www.air21.com.ph website. Philippines	Feb.5,2010 INTERVIEW	I print screened the skype chats and call history as well as yahoo. I did it back to back to save paper as well as to lessen the weight. The prescreener and CO didn't look at the e-mails and just asked for photos and greeting cards. For the photos, i just put them in a clear folder, something that bends easily coz if u will put them in an album i don't think it will fit once the pre-screener or the CO asked it from you. You might need to bring a hand towel or hankies for the sweaty palms...had the same problem coz i was so nervous and had a bit of problem when i did the fingerprint. I can understand how u feel. I understand it will not be recognized in Norway but sure it will be accepted if you wish to marry in the Philippines. I have a friend that was approved during her visa interview for fiance visa and presumptive death was accepted by the consulate as she was prepared and well presented with legal documents for termination of previous marriage..... The last time we had an update was the check were encashed and we never even got a hard copy of NOA1 until my fiance made efforts to follow up last November only to be informed that they mailed him an RFE which he didn't received. They mailed the RFE and we replied January. Our status now is that they got our responce and case processing resumed. Currently waiting for a positive result. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Denial Notice Sent (K1)	Hi Linda! We were both denied for the same reason which is we failed to established evidence of meeting within 2years. It seems that it's really strange that they denied you at once even without sending you guys any RFE or additional evidence. In our case, we did received an RFE and have submitted the necessary documents requested from us and my fiance thought would suffice them but it didn't. So then we were given an option to appeal but it seems that it's a slower action because up to now we are still awaiting for the decision. As like other's have mentioned on your posts, it seems that it's better to re-file as it moves a little bit faster aside from the fact that there is a specific timeline. My fiance have followed it up a couple of times in an office in Seattle that an appeal usually takes 6-12months for a decision to be granted. Currently we were advised that our appeal is pending at CSC and will be notified once decision is granted. Running on 6months by August28. We were both frustrated as we are still hanging and confuse if it will soon or not. We should be getting some good news soon... I suggests you may re-file the petition and make each step better and correct the mistakes this time around. You may also seek assistance from a lawyer to have guidance as well.... As you can see on my timeline below, we got our denial letter last july..we were sooo sad. My fiance told me not to give up. We love each other so much and we'll do anything to be together..no matter how hard the wait will be. The letter states that we have the option to appeal the decision. This time we decided to talk to an immigration lawyer and ask for advice only (we didnt hire them). The lawyer told us to refile the petition instead of doing the appeal. He said if we do the appeal, more than likely we'll get denied, coz we're the one who made the mistake...mistake of not following instruction. So a week after, we refiled. We made it right this time. On our 2nd application we put everything that is needed (photos of us together, form g325a from me and my fiance, letter of intent to marry, passport size photos, passport stamps, etc). Now we'll just see what will happen next. If everything goes well then good, if not, then we'll go on our next plan..which is to marry outside USA and pursue spousal visa...which i know will take years..correct me if im wrong. As to answer your question, i dont know whats the exact reason why your petition got denied. There are 2 option you can choose, or maybe 3. First is to file an appeal (the process is complicated but u can try..but its much expensive than refiling). Second is file again (thats what we did and now we have NOA1 stating the process will take up to 5 months..we'll see). Third, is marry in your country and file for spousal visa petition and wait for years to get the visa. You don't need to hire a lawyer. VJ people can help you..for free . They can give you helpful advice. It really sucks to be apart with someone you truly love. I know the feeling. And the wait is very frustrating. Just be strong..the journey is long and not easy Indeed, from what I read from other people here it's much faster to re-file rather than the appeal. We should have thought about the best option before we filed the appeal. Unfortunately with the appeal aside from it's expensive than re-filing the petition, there's no timeline or assurance of approval. But still we are hoping for a positive outcome, my fiance received notice that our appeal is at CSC right now still pending and will be notified once decision is granted. Like awalktoremember said they were unaware of instructions and proper documents with the initial package that they have sent which pretty much same with us. Hopefully upon resubmitting additional evidence we will hear good news soon. It's good to hear that we are able to discuss our mistakes so that others will have an update.... Our petition for K1 visa was denied because we failed to established evidence that the two of us have met within 2years. My fiance filed for I290B for an appeal attached with revised documents, additional evidence and fee. We are running on 4th month of waiting still no results We followed it up nobody seems to know an answer of the status of our appeal. Sad thing is that we were given false hopes couple of weeks ago informing us that the decision will be released in 2weeks but then again days gone by and no answer. We were so frustrated as we don't know where we stand fearing of another negative result. Wondering for any other option. We received a NOID in April, 2009 wanting documentation to support an issue we are having. The NOID told us what to send in and the last paragraph was that USCIS would not be making a decision before June 29. We sent in our reply, via registered mail, and USCIS received it on May 29, 2009. June 30 came and went. We contacted USCIS who put in an email inquiry to be responded within 45 days. We called our Senators office. He sent a letter to us last week and said that we were denied on June 15 and a letter sent on June 16. The letter we received from USCIS dated June 16 was the identical NOID letter received in April, just the last paragraph indicating that they would not be making a decision before June 30 was deleted. This was not a letter of Denial. Called USCIS again yesterday and she asked if we would like the Denial Letter sent out again, of course. It wasn't her fault that US postal services did not deliver it to us - we would have to take that up with them. We have always gotten any written communication from them. However, the 30 day appeal period has passed. We want to appeal and she said that she would do an email to the proper department. We have faxed the 2 NOID letters to our Senator and maybe he can help us. What I am inquiring about what is everyone's opinion about an appeal vs. getting married and filing the CR1? I am just beside myself with this stuff. Thanks for any input. Hi tgorety! I know how hard and painful it is because apparently our petition had been denied by USCIS and we chose the option of appeal. However, we are still awaiting for results running 6months now. The sad part of it is that there is no timeline for an appeal. I see some who re-applied the petition and were approved already. Others got married and filed for CR-1 now got an NOA2. Fiance filed for an appeal I 290b and last time notice he got was saying it was still pending and currently at CSC will be notified once decision has been made...Running on 6months of waiting by end of this month....We were advised there's no specific timeline for an appeal usually takes 6months or a year for the process which is really frustrating....
