Call your lawyer, get all the paperwork together, and then once it's all assembled send the DOS an email informing them of what you are doing. Once the one year passes give them a 2 week notice. The lady told me that she doesn't know of any system crashes and that NVC is not affected by any of it since they only process visas. Its the State Department that issues visas.    She further said NVC system is working just fine. If your case is languishing at the NBC and it gets transferred, you get three messages, one informing you that it's going to your local office. In fact only the hard copy NOA or the USCIS dis-service line can tell you which service center it's really going to (id est it's not actually going to a local office).   I must say it's tiring to see We asked for a NVC expedite and an embassy expedite last week as we have been in the system for 14 months with August, our second anniversary being 15 months. We pointed out all the issues with the incorrect information and issues with our documents through no fault of ours (lost pictures, holding up a form that had no errors).  Today hubby called and was told that based on our expedite request, the case was complete and sent to the embassy. I have not seen any confirmation of that yet or received an email but I am cautiously optimistic that we are finally seeing the end of this journey. I have lost all of my friends through lack of contact. I feel like my relationship with my wife is not even that good any more. I don't see the point in going on. I have stopped eating very much, I sleep as much as possible because I hate being awake. I don't see any point in anything anymore.    Also I only have a few days of vacation time saved up, and it takes 3 days to get there and 2 to get back. He told me me too that his application was being held up at the NVC because of a "massive systems failure."   But the problem was with the database used for issuing visas. Individually that is.     Try and find your local Republican Senate campaign to work on. Work the phones and knock on doors, get out the vote. I learned a lot working for OFA (Obama's campaign) in 2012, GOTV (Get Out the Vote) is really important. The Republicans are pretty much guaranteed to keep the House, it's the Senate that's up for grabs. I just wanted to thank you, you majesty King Obama, for your DACA amnesty, put into place completely in defiance of the US Congress and Constitution. Although I doubt you care, in addition to the 7 months at the USCIS I had to endure without my wife, I am now coming to find out that the National Visa Center has extended the wait time for every piece of paper they process from 30 to 60 days as a result of the backlog created by your brazenly illegal amnesty polices. I really appreciate all the help you've given to people who have no legal right to be in this country at the expense of people patiently waiting in line to come here the right and legal way. I especially appreciate the fact that I will pass my first wedding anniversary next month alone and without my wife.
