While the US is trying to find ways to improve the healthcare system, the govt here are looking for ways to destroy ours. It'll be gone in 5 years :'(   Yeesh that sucks. That's what you get for electing the Tories though. Can't say I sympathize too much with illegal immigrants in the UK though.    In any event as soon as I get all my Network, Cisco, etc. certs and attain my desired spot as a network engineer I'll be packing my bags and moving to Deutschland I can't wait to get out of this country. And please don't believe the hype about Obamacare, it was a scam and a total sellout to the drug and insurance companies, not to mention to the "Not for Profit" hospitals that pay their boards million dollar bonuses every year. For most people who get their insurance through our companies absolutely nothing changed, we still pay exorbitant rates for health insurance that will abandon us at the soonest possibility. We still have the worst health care "system" in the industrialized world. Dying people ordered to work and stop treatment or lose benefit. Suicide rates are rocketing. People are being forced to work for free. There has been no new houses built for decades so we have a housing crisis that is as bad as Venezuela. And racist propaganda has brought a far right party very close to power. We are regressing and it's very scary.   Funny I thought you were describing the US. If you're looking for the government to help you when you're sick then you're definitely coming to the wrong country, sure they'll help you at the hospital but they'll stick you with a $800,000 fee (not making that up) that will bankrupt you for the rest of your life. April 8th my address was changed. April 29th i received email saying i am in Post Decision Activity and that my i-130 was approved and approval was sent to NVC.     Unfortunately it looks like you're an F2A, unless I am mistaken. I'll call tomorrow, but my congressman's liason has been pinging them pretty frequently and they said we have to wait till 12 May to do anything because until then we're within "standard processing times." Including Leahy and Sanders, the two Vermont senators. I'll post my letter here when done. It won't be applicable to all but we should share ideas. I'm staying positive though. I'm hoping for approval during May when my wife is here for two weeks so we can celebrate together. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-130 November Filers	I'm just going on memory.  I'm too demoralized to go back and double check everything.  I noticed another couple with the same PD, same SC as us, doesn't appear to be an expedite, had their interview on 16 April.  At the same I noticed a couple just finished up after 14 or 15 months.  Seeing that has me thinking of how long it will take before I get fed up enough that I'll just decide to retire (eligable in 98 days), take my pension, my investment accounts, etc and just beat feet out of here.   I would do it if I were you. Combined NVC + interview is going to take more than 98 days alone, and you've probably got at least 30 to NOA2. If I could leave this country easily and have a good life elsewhere I would do so and not look back. Just be sure to get rid of your US citizenship ASAP because the US makes all of its citizens file a tax return even when they're overseas.	thedude6752000	Male	India	2014-04-25 13:38:00

She lives in Sri Lanka now and she gonna have to get two PCC one from Sri Lanka and one from Dubai, form 2007 to 2013 she works for a bank in Dubai. Does that mean I should wait till end of May before inquiring?? And can I as the beneficiary call in to them?? Or does it have to be my husband the petitioner?   I'm so tired of obsessing over this, would really like to get things moving!   Peace all.   You would need to wait that long and then another month. They better get a shift on, lol.   Here is the response my congressman's staffer got from the VSC:   "On November 12, 2013, your constituent filed a Form I-130 Immediate Relative petition with U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).  Your constituent?s Form I-130 Immediate Relative petition is currently pending processing with the Vermont Service Center (VSC).    The VSC is currently processing Form I-130 Immediate Relative petitions 6 months from date of receipt (5 months processing + 1 month buffer).  Your constituent?s Form I-130 Immediate Relative petition is within 30 days of the processing times.   Thank you,"   So when they say "5 months" apparently that means 6, since they get one extra month to do anything. She was basically reading off some online instructions. I asked for expedite due to financial distress and now I've got to wait 5 days for an answer. I'm a nurse and where I work it is hard to get time off. Right now I'm trying to plan a trip to go visit him. These trips are expensive, but I guess I have to deal with it for now. Anyway my concern is that when I log in to see my case status, it shows that my case has not been touched since 12/04/2013. Could this be right? I called USCIS and the CSR told me that I cannot investigate until after 04/25/2014. What can I do?     Completely possible. Mine has not been touched since they got it on the 12th of November. I checked back tonight and it said "On April 8, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130"   What does this mean? Does it mean they are getting closer to approving so I can finally get my NOA2?   It's likely that you will get an RFE or acceptance soon. We maybe also have more patience because we're older, we both knew what we didn't want, and we make the most of our time together when we have it.
