Nope, not a peep. If we don't hear anything from uscis by July hubby talked about coming down and doing DCF... Congrats dude!!!

Well, husband called USCIS, lawyer called USCIS, both were fed the same old tired ####### of being inside normal processing times, based on March 31 data for TSC.
I'm so frustrated and stressed by these delays.

Anyway, just venting.


 

I'm giving it till June till I start calling them everyday again. I'm on someone's desk, I had all the pertinent docs in there, I have no earthly idea what's going on.

PD nov 15 NSC JUST GOT APPROVED!!!

But guys I called a tier 1 to make sure it was real and he said just for NVC to receive it, it could take up to 90 days!!! That's just tier one ####### right??? Did anyone else recently approved hear that NVC is backed up???

 

Doesn't matter if they're backed up, should take 30 days max. The backlog would affect the amount of time it takes to get a case number, not when they actually receive it. 


TheDude if it helps mine was with an officer for like three weeks, then I got ANOTHER address change update May 24 (12 days after my real one) then approved three days later may 27.

 

How did you know that it was with an officer? My Congressional rep's immigration liason spoke to the guy on the phone.

Hubby called again and lady at 1st said that processing times was 5 months... then that she needed to clarify something... 2 seconds later she says... we are currently working on 11/5/2013... call in a few weeks... almost 7 months and nothing! 

 

Even though I know I'm with an officer now, I am still in the same boat as you. It's so infuriating seeing all of these people ahead of us get approvals.

My case has been on the officer's desk for over a week, and I included copious amounts of proof, and all documents, I had a lawyer check it over so I know there's no problems with the I-130 or the G-325A. What the hell is taking so damn long?????????????


All the numbers on the spreadsheet are wrong BTW. Can someone fix this?

How did you figure out that your case has been with an officer since last week? Online status update? Telephone (Tier 1 or 2) ?

 

My congressman's immigration liason talked with the guy/girl personally and I got an update via service request I put in, either online or on the phone, I did both so I am not sure which one was completed.

Yes I got a SR # not sure if it made any difference that both of us were on the call but they asked my wife, the usc, more questions than me. Took her email addy and said we'd hear within 30 days.

 

I am like your wife, I am the US citizen. Was it just a general request for info or a past date SR? I put in a general request SR last week but I still cannot put in a past date SR.

Did you get a service request receipt #? I just called and did that, and the dweeb on the other side told me that the VSC is still on the 12th and I need to call back once they get to the 13th.

Change of address takes you straight through to tier 2 or so I've been told. Each time I've spoken with one they seem to know what is going on. Last time I was told I could file an sr today and I could.

Just spoke to uscis. Gave me a confirmation # for a service request, said we are outside normal processing and should hear something in 30 days. 

 

What did you say to them? What was the name of the officer you talked to? Where they in NY or Cali?

Trust me, you don't want an RFE from VSC. They say they will make decision within 60 days of RFE response, yet I found at least 3 cases waiting in RFE response review since March. While most of the other service centers make decision within week or two of rfe response, I have no idea what takes VSC 2 months in RFE review.

 

Wow VSC is the shittiest service center of all.

Nothing makes sense. Someone with a pd two days after me at vsc has had an rfe. I'd kill for an rfe right now. At least I'd know they were working on our case. And they are approving 2014 like November and December don't exist.

 

Someone who filed on the same day and is one number different in their case number got an RFE 3 weeks ago, yet they're still on "November 12 2013." Try to make sense of that.

Don't believe anything they tell you, if you call back 5 minutes later, you'll be told something else, they don't go by date filed clearly.

 

I've heard the same thing everyday from multiple CSR's for almost 2 weeks straight. Still working on 12 Nov.

I have tried E requests, emails and calling. They either say I'm within 'processing times' or that they will only deal with the petitioner or our attorney, not me as the beneficiary.

I'm reaching the very end of my patience, will have to meditate on more.

I know that this process is likely to take a year in total, but I keep hoping maybe it will not take quite that long.

I know I'm going to get there finally, but man, this sitting on the edge of my seat waiting is taking a toll on my butt.

So... As of Now 20% of All November filers have been approved:

 

NSC 22%

TSC 23%

CSC 9%

 

if I'm not mistaken by this time last month October was 60% approved?? 

 

Please USCIS churn out more approvals!!!  

 

 

 

 

I think you mean VSC 9%. No November filers got sent to the CSC, which is the fastest. That's why IMO it's going so much slower this month.

I really need your guys' advice. I'm at my wits end. Here's the thing :

I'm abroad with hubby in Australia
I've been here since July 2013 and my visa here expires this July 2014
I really want to go home but don't want to be separated

What do you think about us going home next month TOGETHER to US with return tickets to Australia? We could spend three months in US then come back to AU for his interview (I can get a tourist visa when this one expires).

Do any of you have spouses visiting the US? How is boarder control? Have any of you gotten sent back on arrival?

I know this is expensive but I've had it. I don't care about money.

I'm terrified that we will get to US with proof of pending I-130 and return tix and they still turn us down and send him back.

Help please!!!













 

It's totally possible they would turn her back. I would. You can try though. Be prepared to buy her a ticket back the same day you land, they make you pay for it. There are no guarantees.
