K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Confuse about our RFE change of date!!!! :(	Same seems to happen to everyone.   First text/email notification seems to be when someone has actually looked at your paperwork and decided you need an RFE.  I guess then your status is updated and the letter is ready to print.  The 2nd text/email seems to happen when they actually print off your RFE and mail it out.  Ours arrived less than a week after the 2nd notification. Please, it is English on this forum only.   If you are still waiting for your RFE then you must call again.  There is a time limit on how long you have to respond to your RFE.  I am not sure the limit, think it may be 8 weeks and you could already be half way through that limit. S confused and happy I am sure you will work it out fast and have your approval soon From what others have said, it may be my fiance's divorce papers that are the issue. I am hoping so. That would mean a bunch of photocopying is all that's required. I already warned him to make sure he has ink for his printer It's been a long journey and it's not over yet by a loooooooong way! but thanks to everyone of you out there that have been there for me with help, advice and moral support. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	We Got an RFE	When we found out that we had a RFE, we took it a good sign because that means our case has been touched. I really hope your RFE is just minor and hopefully you will get NOA2 approval in a few days after you send the RFE response. Good luck! I was a little upset at getting an RFE after over 8 months but I guess we must have done something wrong. But atleast it means our file is there, being worked on and not lost in the black hole anymore As soon as we get the letter, we will get it sorted and sent back as soon as we can. That's great but the more I think about it, I seem to recall we had a conversation about his divorce papers and he wasn't sure which bit he was supposed to send. Apparently it's not a single sheet like mine, it's a whole stack of papers including finances, kids arrangements and everything. About 15 minutes later, when I was chatting with my fiancee in Japan, got the text message and email!!! Whew, that was a long one! She's not planning to move till September, so we have some time to work on the next steps but I'm sure glad this long wait is over! Funny thing today is I dropped a penny in the toilet by accident! Wishing approvals for all you who are waiting.  I updated my timeline, seems like I'm the only one today so far.    Oh great news congratulations   Funny, we got our NOA2 after an RFE and was the first on Igor's list that day.     Our NOA2 hard copy just arrived in the mail today too.  Super quick after the ridiculously long wait. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April RFEs	Congrats to Oregon Bound who got their NOA2 3 days after their RFE reply was received, that's just awesome!!   Looks like CSC grabbed the November and December files again yesterday...there's even some January files, pretty crazy how they just skip around.  We were surprised to be approved so quick after our RFE.  Very happy about it but seems hard to understand why that was quick when for others it's painfully slow.   They need to look at the August filers.  There are still lots that have not received RFE's or NOA2's   Hang on in there everyone.  You WILL get there	Oregon Bound	Female	United Kingdom	2013-05-10 13:58:00
