This is all so confusing to me Although a small amount of September filers have received their NOA2's, only about 1/6 of August filers have received theirs and about half of July filers. I do not know how long you have known this man or why he has said he doesn't want to carry on with the application, but after such a short time of waiting I think I would be questioning his commitment to you. Just annoying emails saying we have an RFE on those dates. Now if skype cuts out (which it usualy does at some point during his day) I can call him back even if he isn't there to answer We have Skype running right now. He isn't at the computer just now, he's out feeding his mom's cat but I will hear him come in the door, hear him shout "Hi love" and then he will come in the kitchen and have a coffee with me before he does his next chore. We will have Skype running for about 7 hours now and then he will call me up just before he sleeps (middle of my night) so I can say goodnight to him. But a visit every few months or once, twice a year is not enough to keep you from missing them inbetween visits?!? Maybe there lies an ocean and a whole continent between the 2 of them, everybody has their lives with responsibilities, a job they can´t just up and leave anytime they miss their partner, they possibly have children to take care of, a roundtrip costs $ 1500 or more so you can´t afford it all the time. In many cases it´s visa issues that won´t allow them to travel to their loved one´s country and/ or stay there until the K1- process is over....so there are plenty of reasons. I don´t think anyone of us CHOOSES not to see their significant other. We have been lucky in that I went to see him in July 2011, he to me in october 2011, april 2012, oct 2012 and feb 2013. Quite a financial strain. Due to work on the ranch he will not be back out here untill september/october if we are still waiting. I won't even try to go visit incase we get turned back. Four tickets at over 1500 dollars each in the summer is a lot to lose. We both would rather spent all our hours together, that's why we went the K1 route, so that I would not have to come back to england once we are married. That for us was important. Go to Tools > Options > (left hand side) Calls > Check the box that says "Answering incoming calls automatically" and "Start my video automatically when I am in a call" Click the save button. Then your loved one can hit video call and Skype will answer automatically. You can check on your partner while they are sleeping and imagine yourself crawling into bed with them (which is what I do) Thank you! When he wakes (8 hour behind me) I will get him to alter his too. I can go thru 8GB in one day and Australia doesn't have unlimited usage. I'm capped at 200GB before going back to dial up speed LOL. Skype also has a setting that your video calls can be answered automatically. So if your loved one is sleeping, and you want to check on her/him, hit the video call button and skype will connect the call with video without anyone being on the other end (if you tell it too). We never even heard back from our congressman! It seems that the service centre is so busy processing the petitions that Rfe's and everything else are having to wait a little longer than usual. Please try not to panic just yet, it takes a long time sometimes for them to get round to acknowledging they actualy have your file and they are just not going to take the time to go look for it manually.
