K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	RFE query	I know this has probably been answered before but I can't find anything relevant and to be honest my nerves are soooooo frayed I figured I better jump on here and ask. We initialy received text notification 18th April that we had an RFE. My fiance just let me know that today he got another text notification. I looked on the USCIS website and the RFE date has now been changed to the 24th April from the original date of 18th April. Does this mean there are two RFE's coming our way or is it normal? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ALMOST IN TEARS	It is getting close to 8 months now since the NOA1 and I just don't know what to do. I am not in the states, so I can't easily contact with the CSC by phone and I hate being helpless in this situation. It is also frustrating to see people who, from the same country and service center, have applied after me have received their NOA2 and I still have had no word. Any suggestions on how to pass the time or to speed up this process???!?!!!! ALMOST IN TEARS!!! Thanks in advance It is difficult. Lots of us are in the same boat right now. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Black Hole Filers Intensive therapy group	First come first served would be wonderful wouldn't it but do you realise your file WAS processed in date order (this thought occurred to me today) The file is received at the service Centre and we are sent the NOA1. For instance my NOA1 is 7th August BUT on the USCIS site my file was touched 10th August. Guess they did something with it right then IN DATE ORDER! Yep we planned our filing to make it possible for me and my kids to travel to USA in June and spend the summer out there before my kids started new schools in September. They would atleast have been a bit more used to the place by then. Now we are hoping for Christmas! It's not what we were hoping for when we set off on this journey. I put no blame on the ones who received the NOA2. My frustration and anger is all channeled to the USCIS. Anyways, anyone check igors list lately? Do you like how the DEC bar is higher than the AUG bar? Personally, I find it hilarious! BUT 31 petitions August approved and 21 petitions December. Yea I am sick to the back teeth of waiting, it hurts everytime I see someone else getting approved even though I am happy for them. Just praying it will soon be my turn. This is crazy. Just noticed this on USCIS website.....that explains the no approvals. Gonna be another rubbish week. USCIS California Service Center Closed Due to Plumbing Issues On Monday, March 25, 2013, some customers were notified of delivery delays to the USCIS California Service Center (CSC). The delays were the result of a temporary closure of CSC due to plumbing issues. The CSC will remain closed on Tuesday, March, 26, 2013. Deliveries will resume once CSC reopens. USCIS Service Centers	CSC I-129F Processing Delay Calculator...	It says to put the month in first. If I do that it says I should have been processed two months ago. There is nothing on the USCIS website about it yet but I guess no announcement would be made untill they know the exact extent of the problem. USCIS Service Centers	I Cannot Believe It!!	Yep my fiance was hung up on when he asked to speak to a tier 2. Seems customer service is just about non existent at USCIS. No you do not have to just sit and wait it out. Be as pro active as you feel you wish to be but do be prepared for let downs from most people that you think might be able to help e.g congressman, senator, media etc. Every so often, someone gets lucky with their congressman or senator.
