Our case is now on the way to Manila and it's only been a little over a week since petition approval. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2010 K1 filers	I woke up an hour early to check if there's any update from USCIS (which has been my routine everyday). I was expecting too much to get approved on April 6th.. for some reasons.. I felt frustrated cuz there's no update yet.. I logged out and did some chores cuz I was really sad! I checked USCIS and VJ again, and I found out WE ARE APPROVED TODAY!! and it says the approval of our petition is April 6! Yahooooooooooo I'm really SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY! THAT'S FANTASTIC! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	November 2010 K1 filers	Hello everyone, We got our NOA2 today too. I am SO happy! I checked my email early this morning like I usually do. Nothing there. After a few minutes I got a text from my fiance saying that our case has been updated! I checked my email again and there it was, saying our petition has been approved! As someone from VJ usually says, you really just have to keep the faith! I was already running late for work earlier but I logged on to VJ anyway to update my timeline because I know a lot of people check Igor's list and an approval really gives some kind of hope to people. I know it did to me -- I always get so happy when I see that there's some progress from CSC. Hang in there fellow November filers, Im still praying for all us! It really isn't too long now! Be on the lookout for texts and emails -- they (CSC) seem to be pretty good at updating now. That's really awesome!! I know CSC and VSC "seesaws" in terms of speed -- I hope they don't slow down just yet! They haven't even really started on October... Watching the list is so bad for my anxiety, LOL. It was moving along so well for CSC for a while and now it's been barely starting October for a couple of weeks... Man, I understand d they are busy, but when you gotta work and have a life sitting in front of the computer sucks Hope you're process goes faster than mine. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Getting an interview in Montreal, impossible!	I sent in details requested from packet 3 , and got packet 4 saying I'm ready to book my interview! I was so excited, went online and instead of seeing a date I got, there are no available appointments at this time. This has been going on for almost three weeks, many times a day I check to see if maybe it's my lucky day, but nothing yet. Anyone else having this problem, or any people that know when these new appointments are listed? Thank you so much for your hep! There were some Canadian members who posted in the Canada Regional Forum that they managed to get interview dates for June, earlier this week. but it was rare and involved a lot of refreshing. According to DoS, Montreal is "backed up and slowed down" at the moment. We're still waiting for them to "recieve" our case that was sent from NVC two weeks ago. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Timeline date moved!	Twice on my timeline the "date your case should be adjudicated" estimate has changed!!! It started off saying the end of August to September, then changed to beginning of August to end of August, now it changed to July 23 to August 8! Is this normal? I hope it keeps doing that. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA2 Sent to Montreal questions	Hi Everyone! So our approved NOA2 went through the NVC and got sent to the Montreal Embassy on May 23rd.. but I called the NVC and they said that they don't have a tracking number .. so how will I know it arrived there? I can't call the Embassy because they don't have a phone number but I could e-mail.... is this normal? Also Can I start filling out the forms because I have the case number now? You'll want to start calling DoS (post on that subject here: http://www.visajourn...he-nvc-and-dos/) to inquire if Montreal has received your case and if packet 3 has been sent out yet. They're notoriously backed up so there could be a delay (It was 2 weeks between NVC sending ours and Montreal "receiving" it, for example). From there, you should check out the Canadian Regional forum (http://www.visajourn...orum/93-canada/) there have been a lot of people on how to deal with the Montreal consulate and get through that stage as quickly as possible!
