K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	VISA APPROVED!!	Congrats!   It is been 4 months that I never got a chance to visit VJ page because I was so depressed after I was failed on my medical exam at Saint Luke last July 22. My interview in USEM Manila was moved because I need to undergo Sputum Exam. Plus I need to wait for 2 months for the culture test. I thanked God that the result last October 7 is negative. My interview in USEM under CR1 category was scheduled yesterday October 10. I thanked God, My visa was APPROVED! YAY! Just heard from my fiance!   He stated that was the easiest interview ever lol--the visa was approved--all he needs to do is bring in the police clearance once issed but is has been approved     Thank God! Wow I must say this process is moving along quite smoothly--I left for Barbados to see my fiance on 7/31/13--on yesterday 8/7/13 my case per NVC shows a status of ready.   I contacted US Embassy in Barbados and they received my petition on yesterday and packet 3 was mailed to my fiance today!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Is it worth hiring a service provider to do my application for me?	My personal opinion is that you can do this all by yourself.  I actually looked at all the references this site has to offer and I received my NOA2 just a few days ago with no rfes.   There are so many free resources out there and to be honest the lawyer is not doing anything more than what you can do on your own.   Hope this helps! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Question	Hi folks.  Quick history - Back on September 30th I received an email from USCIS stating our I-129F had been approved and an I-797 has been sent to me in the mail.   It finally arrived today.  They sent it to the wrong address, an in state immigration lawyer.  They were kind enough to forward it to me.   It's not clear to me what my next step is.  The approval is good until the 29th of January 2014.  At the bottom of the form the Texas Service Center is listed with a customer service phone number.   Do I continue t track my case online like I have been?  Will they notify me or my partner?  Or do I need to call customer service?   Anyone in the know I would love to hear from.   Thanks much   Hello and congrats on your approval--at this point your petition will be forwarded to the NVC for processing and then will be forwarded to the designated Embassy where your partner is.   I would contact the NVC at this point to see if you have a case number--the USCIS site will no longer provide updates   Once the NVC provides you with a case number you will track the case on the below site   https://ceac.state.g...peAKjMWCuebHqOw==   i have also provided the link for nvc contact info   http://travel.state..../info_3177.html     hope this helps and good luck on the rest of your journey! Caribbean	Approved! Interview went astonishingly well at the Jamaican Embassy :-)	We have been approved! My fiance claims they didnt even go through the binder I sent off to him. They simply asked if we were going to get married and when my fiance tried to hand over the binder the IO stated that he didn't need to see it, that my fiance had nothing to worry about as he was APPROVED! Thanks .....he is still waiting for packet three.   From my understanding the fee can be paid at the embassy--I would email and confirm--I will as well.   The AOS fee is in regards to Adjustment of Status right? Hi all,   I just wanted to say that after I put in a request via the Customer Service Center.  I got an email today that they looked into the problem saying that my Feb. 1. Petition had been APPROVED on July 6.  However, the online system is not showing an approval, and I never got any other notifications.  Now I am trying to figure out if they bothered sending it to the NVC or not.  Does anyone have any similar stories or advice.  Thanks for your help.     Sorry I meant to quote your comment   My approval was on the exact same day--the online site still says "initial review".  No email. USCIS Service Centers	Transferred file from vsc to Texas got touched today!!!!!!	My fiance and I are sort of in a similar boat - got a call from the GA Congressman's office saying that our petition was approved on the 8th July (they rang and told us on the 12th). Nothing via email, phone, website has been updated however. I wanted USCIS to confirm it had actually been approved, so I made my fiance call yesterday. USCIS said that the petition had indeed been approved on the 8th. We have NO IDEA where things are up to though. We don't have our written NOA2, I have no idea if it has been transferred to the NVC (more than likely that's a big NO) and yeah.... we are just waiting to find out where things are out. It is the most frustrating experience ever! I am visiting my fiance on 6th Sept for 2 1/2 months and was hoping to have my packet 3 details before then so i can lodge and organise the consulate interview for when i return. At the rate they are going and the lack of details this appears to be wishful thinking!!!! My approval was on the exact same day--the online site still says "initial review".  No email.
