My wife and I met each other when I was her First year high school teacher back in the philippines - that was 1993-94. Then the following year her family migrated here in Florida. Thirteen years until Jan 2007, she found my email address from my alma mater. We started our communication until she found out I was not married yet and the rest is a history... April 2007, she went home and we met again since 1994. We talk about her plan of bringing me here, so it happened, she came back here in June 2, 2007 and started our paperworks ........
....all the consulate officer did was to hear our love story, how we met etc..etc...etc....he didn't even care to ask for my financial support coz I brought a ton of evidence and that I was really truthful and honest about my feelings and intentions...that's it!!!

You are correct: you will have to mention the traffic citation, but if it's under $500 you are not formally required to provide documentation for it. That said, it's best if you take documentation with you if you have it, just in case the I.O. would like to have a quick look at it, which sometimes happens.

No, a citation has zero impact on your naturalization.



The date you became a resident is in front of your Green Card, any of your Green Cards, where it reads RESIDENT SINCE xx/xx/xxxx. The time you had "only" a 2-year Green Card counts as well.

This is Patrick. I am back again for quite a long time. Here I am again to continue my journey. So, July 16 will be the expiration of my Green Card and my 90 days window begins third week of April and take the chance to send my documents. Some of my paperworks are done but I have a delimna ahead. I am going back to the Philippines comes July 4 to prepare for our church wedding there. What will I do? What travel documents would I show the immigration for me to go out of the US and eventually return back?

we have all sorts of joint credit cards all with good standing but we don't want to expose our account numbers fearing it might cause us finacial loses. I have to consider asking my mother -in-law wriote a notarized letter. Thank you. Our AETNA Claim activity notices is more than enough to show our names together with our home and mailign address, so with our GEICO cards from start to the recent ones, financial evidence: HER caremark insurance carries my name in it? And our tax returns reflects that we don't own a house.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionDMV Investigations Won’t Issue Drivers License

I don't know where she had her driving test at, but if it's California, then just tell her to suck it up and wait. CA is very strict and have a very unique rules and regulations. As much as I love that place, I am so thankfull that I don't live there lol.

Here in Florida, I just showed the DMV my NOA that I am approved of green card and is ordered for production. Because at that time my 90 days visa had already expired. They honored it in place of my GC. I had my learner's license for a while and when my GC arrived, I took my driving test, I passed it and was issued a drivers license that expires in 2017.
