thanks so much, I couldn't agree more this system is broken. there is very little oversight. Seems this stuff can be scanned into a computer and the oldest file will electronicly to the the next available rep.so that May filers would go ahead of December filers,

I will keep rooting and praying for my fellow December filers who haven't gotten their Noa2 yet.

Hope mine too will not be much longer.

I think/hope all those who suffered thru an RFE will have by the end of the 90 days they allowed themselves.

I was begining to think I was being punished for pestering them as they kept adding 30-60 days everytime I enquired..

My fiance thinks I should send the senators immigration laison some flowers or chocolates, hmm, Im not sure she wasnt just doing the bare minimum of her job requirement. I will of course do as my fiance asks hehe. Good luck, I will be following you guys here at the end, I know how you feel.

My fiance got in touch with the deputy director of TSC, Angela Barrows, who was very responsive (such a nice surprise!)

Obviously this shouldn't be used unless you're in a situation that seems to be going on for far longer than any expected timeframe, which I think is true for some of you! It's really rare that we get someone at USCIS who responds to us, so please don't abuse her e-mail address!

Thanks, this is very helpful, I now have both the supervisor and deputy director, I will compose  an email that is polite, to the point and sugar coat it a little. I will address it to the Supervisor and CC the deputy director and Congressman's Vitter's immigration laison.

The supervisor said they would do things last week that he didn't keep to his words. I will forward the previous letter back to them with is words for the deputy director to see.

Oh My God, it's another week.39 weeks waiting so far. just for the NOA2...

 

 "I have requested the file and upon confirming the RFE response of July 17, 2013, is included in the file, will forward the it to the officer that requested the RFE.

 

I will provide a follow-up email once I receive the file and forward it to the adjudicating officer." 

 

What a crock, They allowed themselves 60 days to match up response paperwork to the original file and approve/deny or RFE. Then if the original RFE isn't met to their satisfaction, I get to time out. nice.

We've been waiting way too long! Am also in the process of contacting my congressman and hopefully the wait will not be much longer that it's already been.

 

Squeaky wheel gets the grease, just sugar coat your words well. I called the congressmans office and got an assistant who gave me the phone of the immigration assistant. who gave me her work email. I had to sign a privacy disclosure and fax to them so they can have access to the information.

I haven't been waiting that long but I got a ideal how you feel, I got NOA1 APRIL 2 2013 GOT TRANSFERTO TSC ON JULY 10, GOT RFE ON JULY 18, ( INTENT TO MARRY LETTER, FROM MY FIANCEE, #### WELL AS PASSPORT PHOTOS FROM HER WHICH WAS SENT IN  WITH PACKAGE AND G-325A) TSC RECIEVE RFE EVIDENCE BACK ON JULY 30; AND AS OF NOW I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING ,

I think they handle these in groups, so i wouldn't be surprised if us transfer tsc folks all get our answers on the same day.

I mailed on on Dec. 2nd and got like Dec 12th NOA1...was caught in the file transfer numbers game......July 3rd I get the RFE and mailed back on the 12th for Monday morning delivery return reciept which was the 15th, they keyed it into the system on the 17th and the wait began again... Anyone know how this Ohmbudsman thing works? There has to be someone within that organization that can see how this is wrong and needs to be addressed.     ClockWatch2.gif

Transferred to Texas from Vermont in May. Received NOA2 on July 3rd but still not shipped to the NVC sad.png Others around our NOA2 date and many after have already been shipped...really worried that someone at TSC has lost our file!

I would definitly be calling on my Senator to send in an inquiry, they have 14 days to respond to congressional inquiry don't wait too long.

I got the RFE on July 3rd. I hope I am not the last December filer who was transfered from Vermont Service Center.

hmm reading off my timeline RFE adds 23 days typcally. The best I can hope for is....decision on July 30th, + 18 days to ship to NVC=  Aug. 17th. + 4 days processing time = Aug. 21st + 8 days to ship to consulate, it will be more for vietnam...realistic is 14 days = Sept. 4th, + 93 days for interview = Dec. 6th. Linh tells me it takes some time for her to settle government business. they owe her some money for labor insurance or something like that.

July 3rd was the official day for me also, but I actually knew it was coming a week earlier from a phone call I made. basicly it looks like a week internal delay to their operations for notification but that may be a bad assumption on my part.

Got the Email, RFE mailed to my house at least I know what they want so when it arrives I can send it back ASAP. Along with some new photos, and updated timeline. Would have been better the RFE itself was emailed rather than just the notification there of.

Well last Tuesday I called and was told they were mailing me an RFE, well I checked the mail all week and email and account and no RFE electronic or paper showed up at my house so I called again this morning and was told no RFE was showing on my account but that is was processing.... so because of the date a service request was put in to the service center...and I will be notified in 15 days. Don't feel bad about all this! It's a bummer that you didn't send in the intent to marry but things like that happen! You'll send it in when you got your RFE and in a matter of only a couple weeks you'll get NOA2!

 

A representative wouldn't have helped to shorten your waittime for NOA2. USCIS is just totally overwhelmed with all those cases. A lawyer couldn't have done anything to expedite your case. Maybe he wouldn't have forgotten the letter of intent but honestly it's only a few weeks of delay.

 

I know it's tough, I just went through all this and am now waiting for NVC to receive our case but it is what it is. It doesn't help to speculate about things you cannot change anymore. Of course your fiancee is sad. She loves you and wants to be with you asap! I don't know about her situation but shortly after we decided to get married I quit my job (because of a lot of reasons) and moved back to my parents (to save money). I have another job now (but nothing I'd want to do permanently) and I still live at my parents' home (and I'm thankful for that but it is very stressful). I feel like my life is on hold right now and believe me it's not a good feeling. I don't really want to build something up - whatever I do here is going to be destroyed anyways as soon as I leave. So I live a zombie-like life until I can finally go. It's not as bad as it might sound but I can totally understand how your fiancee must feel. You wanna start something new and can't...

 

But as I said before: there is nothing you or her can do right now. Stay strong, believe in your love for each other and wait for your RFE in your mail. Receiving an RFE is not as good as receiving NOA2 but at least it means they're working on your case! Which is truly a good thing!!!

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I hope she maintains patience through all this, I certainly need to maintain a solid and steady attitude for her to lean on so I hope I don't fall down on that job often. She does need me to be strong and the love is more than I have ever known.

How did you find out you got an RFE? When was your NOA date? 

I called the number and just pressed the number sequence until I got a human.

submited the Dec. 2nd and Dec. 12th was noa1

I don't know what is on the RFE, no email, no text but was told it was being mailed to my home.

anyway, I think it is for proof of intent to marry, when I mailed all that stuff in I was going by an online package I purchased for $65 and I did not know of this site at that time. I know know they want an original signature afidavit. hmm. My Fiance' cried, it is already 2 months past normal NOA2 date. She is a strong girl, but this is so stressful, I feel awful. We initally discussed getting an immigration lawyer but I have several friends who some had and some didn't and timelines were the same. But their Wives are from the philippines and everything went so much faster. the consulate is so much easier and shorter times. 6 months from NOA1 until their arrival in the US.

I'm glad for those folks but it just doesnt seem fair to those from vietnam. She isn't happy with my handling and feels all the delays are due to no representation. I tried to explain until they recently looked good at the paperwork it wouldn't have mattered if constitutional lawyers prepared or a childs coloring pages were submitted. it's been 7 months of sitting in a box.

PS. to get a human just key in to report a problem, it doesnt matter if you actually have one or not, the problem is they take too long!

Hi everyone! I'm a December 28th filer and I got my NOA2 tonight. They sent the email at 11:15pm last night and I am just absolutely shocked to say the least!! I didn't get a text like I did on the notices and the last night notice just really suprised me! I posted another topic on this if you already saw it (I was so excited its just crazzzzy here!) Almost 6 months sinced I filed and almost 3 years since we met so it has been a long journey for me and my fiance! Good luck to all!!

I guess no new approvals yesterday, I recieved a hard copy in the mail from the Texas Service Center saying they are still within their Time even though I filed December 3rd. ???

I guess it is time to call Senator Vitters office again, They show a day in October as what they are presently working on! and do not list i129f on the uscis TSC list being processed! ranting33va.gif
